With a week gone by, Lauretta had gotten used to the school environment to some extent and she had also met some more of her mates, therefore she didn't feel as left out.
Funny how she had been looking for Damien only a week ago and now she was avoiding him like a plague. The pretty girl she had seen him with on Sunday, she learned was called Lexie.
She, Jojo and sometimes Benita sat together at the same table during lunch.Damien's gaze never left Lauretta whenever they were in the same room. She found it difficult to breathe sometimes when their eyes met.
Her feelings for him were still on the crush phase and she wanted to seize the opportunity to vanquish it. She still thought he had a girlfriend so her reasoning was that it would be best to stay away from him so the feelings could grow stale and vanish. However, all the attention he kept sending her way wasn't helping her plan.
Damien was growing extremely possessive and he knew it. Damien never cared about any of his "potential one night stands" but given the fact that he wanted her as something more, he cared a lot. And it scared him though he was all the more enamored.
It was about 1PM on Saturday when Damien reached the Emerald dormitory, and he felt miserable.
*What happened shouldn't have...* Damien took off his t-shirt and flung it somewhere in the room, not caring where. *Someone should just shove a pipeline down my throat or something! How could I make such a reckless mistake? I just gave him leverage now.*
Using all his might, the punched the white colored brick wall of the dorm, in a minute, painting it with small smears of his blood. He pounded the wall with his fists one more time before freezing to remember everything...

It had been a quarter past noon when Damien's roommate, Owen had gotten their outfits for the anniversary from Lucinda. It was the D-Day and every student was involved in the hustle and bustle.
Owen placed them all in a heap on the chair he had set beside the ironing table. He took out the first which was Damien's and began to steam it.
Damien walked in from behind and planned to pull a scare on Owen.
Owen and Bruce were his close male friends. They were once a quad when Elvis was alright.Owen had just finished Damien's clothes and went on to his own before he paused.
"Would this outfit get her to notice me? It's golden, it'll do...? Perhaps it's too much." He sighed in frustration, scratching his head."Who are you tryna impress Owen?" Damien asked from behind him.
"Huh?! O-oh, it's just you..."
"Yes, it's just me. Now who's the girl? I could give ya some tips you know." Damien offered, picking up his outfit and inspecting it.
"Er, well, I don't think you'll be of much use. She so different and unique... She's too gorgeous and she has this cute laugh, she's also ne–"
"Jesus Christ! Owen you're so smitten. This has never happened before, y'know more than half the students thought you were gay, others, that you were celibate or something. God... well that's something." Damien laughed as Owen was somewhat amazed and shocked but he quickly brushed it off and went back to steaming his outfit and changed the topic.
"Commandment number three states what Damien? You're fond of breaking it."
Damien dropped the outfit in his arms. "Are you being serious?"
"Don't...?"
"No, you're gonna ruin the vibe we've got going on!"
"Do not...?"
