2021 was a hectic and taxing year; for everybody. The pandemic and the uncertainty of life were too much. I couldn't write much. Then there came a time, I almost contemplated how to progress with writing. And I unpublished this one, which was a good decision. Since I got into thinking. After thinking for a while, I again published this for two reasons.

    1. In an uncertain time, I wrote poems that meant something to me. And these will always mean something to me. This feeling will never go away. Whenever I write, I feel like I came home. That is why this is important and cherished to me.

    2. Since knowing about NaPoWriMo, I have tended to overthink and get scared about writing 30 poems in 30 days. But is it necessary? Is it mandatory to write and only publish when you write 30 poems in 30 days? NO. So, I republished it to remind me and others, "It's okay. Take it slow. You don't need to aim to do it all, just do some."

That's why it has only 12 poems. Yet most of all, it has parts of my heart. This is Adry, signing out.
