Big Brother

He was my uncle
My mother's brother
He was my spectacles to the world
The smile to my laughter
The pain to my cries
Now he's just a memory
A memory that I can only remember when tears roll down my cheeks
A memory that I cried to when I was lost in the middle of math class
A memory that keeps me running
A memory that stopped me from cutting
A memory I could never lose
A memory I never want to lose
The more I remember him the closer he is to me
I can never feel his touch in my hands
But I can feel him in my heart
Forever he stays here.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF
UNCLE SHAWN
I love and miss you!
