The sun shone down on the pair, the light reflecting off their eyes and they laughed. It had been like that all day, to the point where their stomachs hurt, and their jaws ached due to how hard they were smiling. Her dainty hands absentmindedly massaging his scalp, the feeling of her acrylics making him hum in satisfaction. The scene itself was like something you would see in a painting, front, and centre in the Louvre, right next to the Mona Lisa. They radiated happiness and would do anything to immortalise the moment. But they did not need to, as this was a constant occurrence for the pair. She laughs as a butterfly gently lands on her nose, causing her to freeze up as she tries to stop herself from sneezing.

"Kep." She whispers faintly, voice so low he nearly doesn't hear her. The sound of his name falling off her lips is like music to his ears. He just can't get enough, it's like honey slowly dripping off her tongue.

"Yes?" He smiles, turning has head as he rested it on the front of her thighs. As he looks over at her, his heart almost bursts out of his chest in adoration as he takes her in. Drinking in her appearance, he felt like he's blessed to see her in such a sate. Her afro littered with petals that had fallen from the cherry blossom tree above them, her skin like coca, glistening in the sun. Her eyes were like comets, the deepest brown with specs of gold as they twinkle in the light. He just can't look away, too afraid that if he did, he couldn't live in this moment anymore. He watched as the butterfly's wings fluttered on her nose, the most gorgeous colours of orange and black on its wings contrasting with Tianna's skin. He would always say she was a princess in relation to the Disney princess she shared a name with, but in that very moment it confirmed it all for him. No other girl could ever compare in his eyes.

"Let me get it." He smiles, breaking himself from his trance as he leans up. He sits up moves himself off his position, already missing the feeling of the warmth of her stomach. Before crawling closer to her, stopping when his knees were by her head and leaning down. As he did so the smell of the shea butter body lotion, her Victoria secret bare vanilla body spray and her Viva La Juicy perfume hits him, sending him into a daze. It was almost intoxicating, but then again everything about her was like that for him. She always looked good and took pride in smelling good too. Once he made sure her face was level with the butterfly to make sure he didn't accidentally hurt it, he guides it onto his index finger examining it for a second. "You know" he begins, taking his attention off the butterfly as he looked at the girl next to him. "These are pretty from afar, but far from pretty."

Tianna furrowed her eyebrow as she tried to make sense of what he was saying, but it just wasn't clicking for her, and her mind felt fuzzy trying to work it out. Which Kepa could tell, causing him to let out a low chuckle. "What I'm trying to say is that from really far, the colours make them look gorgeous." He began, titling his head a little bit as he looked back at the butterfly still on his finger. "But up close? They're ugly. They have these beady eyes and are gross looking. It's like deception." He finishes before letting the butterfly go, he and Tianna watching it fly off until it is out of sight.

Once the pair tear their eyes away from the direction of the butterfly, Kepa stares at her once more. The pair sit in a comfortable silence that seems to last forever, a reoccurring thing for the duo. However, the silence is breaks by the vibration of Tianna's phone, causing her to sigh and reach for her pocket and smiling at her phone. "Mum said to come to her shop, she's made some curry goat with rice and peas if you want it?" Watching as he pondered for a minute and nodded. "We may as well go now then."

The smell of a range of spices filled the shop as the pair walked in hand in hand, with Kepa carrying Tianna's bag along with his own. She tried to protest but the Spaniard was having none of it, getting to the point where he just chose to ignore her protests until she gave up. He never understood why she tried to fight it every time, it always ended the same for the two of them.

The sound of an excited shriek rang from the shop before little legs came padding up to him, hugging his leg in excitement "Kepa!" The voice yelled in complete and utter glee, causing the Spaniard to redirect the focus of his attention to the young boy in front of him. "You finally came, and you brought Tianna too!"

The pure excitement caused Kepa to laugh as he leaned down to give the boy a hug. "Of course, I'd come, I promised you I would." He smiled, taking in the boy in front of him. He looked exactly like Tianna, dark skin paid with the most gorgeous deep brown eyes and a smile that could melt even the iciest of hearts. "I couldn't stay away and miss out on seeing my favourite person."

"Excuse you?" Tianna gasps, her hand over her chest in mock anguish. "Can't believe you just said that!" The whole scene causing him to laugh in response, the chuckle coming from the pits of his stomach before he leans in, moving closer and closer until he was by her ear. The mint gum he was chewing tickling Tianna's nose and causing her to shudder a little bit at how sharp it was.

"Don't be like that mi princesa, no one in the world could ever compare to you." He whispered quiet enough for her to hear, feeling satisfied as he watched the corners of her lips for a ghost of a smile at the nickname. Tianna was awful at taking compliments, she got uncomfortable and sometimes she felt underserving, and she didn't know why. Kepa knew this and made it his mission to compliment her every day, just to remind her that she is worthy of compliments.

"Look at my son in law!" Another voice called out, the base of the voice making it clear who it was causing Kepa to immediately stand up give the woman a hug. Whilst they embraced, she froze for a second and stepped back a look of horror on her face as she takes in his appearance. "Lord have mercy! Are they starving you in that football club, look at you you're so mauger" (Jamaican for skinny)

"Mum!" Jasmine cried out, embarrassed for the poor by as she watched the tips of his ear go red with embarrassment.

"No, no, no!" She continued, running to the back for the food she had earlier plated up for the three of them. "They're trying to kill off my good, good son in England!" She rested the food on the table Tianna and her brother were eating at before going in the back for her ginger and carrot drink. She would make it for days Kepa would be coming over as he expressed how much he loved it beforehand. "Sit down and eat! Big, tall man like you need some proper food. Not that nasty English nonsense like cottage pie."

"Thank you miss Allen." He smiled, looking at the plate stacked high with no clue how he even was going to attempt to eat it. But in that moment, he wished he could do this forever, sitting around the table with his girlfriend's family who adored her more than anything and treated him like one of their own.

Except Tianna wasn't his girlfriend, and every time he'd remind himself that his heart breaks. Nothing would make him happier than him being his, but he knew he couldn't have her that way, they were just friends.
