Howdy, y'all.
This story was first posted on Wattpad in 2017/2018 (I don't remember the exact date). It was finished on Wattpad, but when I deleted my old account this story got nuked with it. I'm now far enough removed, and sufficiently uninterested in this story, that I feel I can repost it without damaging my mental health.
Basically, I'm posting it because I don't care about it.
It's an unedited first draft (like OSD) but if you came here from OSD you'll notice a distinct drop in quality. I learned a lot of things writing this story that improved my writing, and I think the difference in quality compared to OSD really shows.

And I'm not saying that to discourage you from reading this story; by all means, give it a try. I'm proud of it, and the work I did, and incredibly proud that I actually finished it. It was my nano project in... 2020, I think? I didn't win, but I got pretty damn far!
When I finally finished the story I reread it and realized it'd work better as two books, with one book taking place entirely before SPOILER and I said I would rewrite and post the second version on my Patreon. I have done so; all 8 chapters I have rewritten. ...I haven't worked on it in over a year and I'm now on hiatus from Patreon for the foreseeable future. I'm even pausing billing every month.
Truthfully I'm uninterested in working on this story, at the moment. I have a dozen novels that are taking up all my time and I genuinely love them. This one? Nooooot that much.
I kind of have some bad associations with it that have soured my enthusiasm *wince*
That's not to say I'll never get back to it; I probably will. Maybe. In a couple of years. Hopefully. Until then, I'm writing a bunch of others things that are pretty damn fun, and if you'd like to know when I publish them, sign up for my free newsletter!
