OPENING the door to the roof, you were met with a gentle breeze which kept you from sweating in the summer heat. walking towards kazuha who was sitting cross legged on a small blanket, you followed his gaze towards the stars. it was true, the sky seemed much more clearer than usual

"fancy seeing you up here"

taking a seat next to him you realised just how peaceful it was. it had been some time since you had a chance to be in such a quiet place as a majority of your days were spent in the bustling city

"i have just the playlist to accompany us, mind if i play it?"

"sure go ahead"

placing his phone down between the both of you, the sound of cicadas in the distance was now joined by his music

noticing you looking up towards the stars, kazuha looked towards you instead. it was dark on the roof, but not dark enough for him to not see your faint smile which sped up his heart rate just by a little

"very beautiful."

"though if you keep staring up like that, you're gonna break your neck"

"here, lay down instead"

shuffling to the side slightly he placed his hand on your shoulder, gently bringing you down so that you were laying on the blanket where he followed too

"do you know any constellations?"

"a few, i learnt some a while back when i was bored"

"if you see that bright star next to the moon followed by 2 other ones, i had no idea what that was for ages"

"that's ok, point your finger up and close one of your eyes, i'll guide you"

doing exactly that, kazuha gently placed his hand on yours, warming it up slightly. guiding it through the sky as he traced out the constellation, you were trying to focus on what he was pointing out but your heart was beating like crazy, maybe even loud enough for him to hear it
