this is also going in a special place that isn't here.

One fateful day in 15th century England, a whimsical and reticent village boy named Edd was wandering around Dirdum Lane. He had been exploring the outskirts his entire life, so much that he had a very distinct and pragmatic sense of nature. Today was a special day for Edd, as he was finally going to complete his map of Dirdum. He was roaming through every bush, noting every difference between one and the other. Every nook and cranny would be observed and noted, as Edd took pride in himself for his excellent skill of cartography. He reached the final corner of Dirdum, and it turned out to be the one that altered the course of history forever. After several minutes of examining bushes and trees, Edd saw a glimmering light between two caves. Unfazed, Edd continued his observations. Yet mere seconds later, Edd saw it again, only this time it was much brighter. Even though he knew that it was against his better judgement, he began to cautiously creep up to the bright light. What Edd saw would make a grown man cry. He saw a pedestal, and floating above that pedestal was a glamorous steel sword. As Edd's father, Fred Gould, was the captain of the English Army, he had taught his son many battle tactics. Yet there was one thing that Edd was constantly taught: Swords are caustic, yet malicious. Edd solemnly swore that he wouldn't touch a sword until he felt he was ready, but was his father there? No. He had left to serve in Camelot. Nobody could see Edd. Hell, nobody even knew where he was half the time. Edd would look away, then cause himself to look back at it. The sword was malicious, yet it was incredibly seductive. And so, he grabbed the sword. The sword felt heavy in his hands, most likely meaning that the sword was meant for someone older. But mere seconds later, the sword shot a beacon of light up towards the sky. Edd immediately dropped it, but the sword stayed right where it was. He looked at it in shock and awe, as the sword was becoming more and more transparent. As Edd looked into the gazing light, he could see four identical people, all of which looked exactly like him. He reached out to grab it, and then the beacon immediately stopped shimmering. The sword went limp, and right next to him was a piece of parchment paper. Unbeknownst to Edd, this would be the start of a greater thing than he could possibly imagine. And so, he read it out loud. "To thee who finds the sword of 4, they will see the way of others no more. One a whimsical yet redicent light, another more pompous, caustic yet bright. The third will be childish yet pure of heart, the final unlike you right from the start. A more contemptuous situation, a problem much bigger than your own nation. To find the truth, that is what you seek. Go on, young soldier, for the world is looking meek." After completing the parchment, it began to swirl into a portal-like hole. And out the hole came three people who looked Exactly like Edd. "Where are we...?" The one in purple began, before being rudely interrupted by the one in red. "O. M. G. I had a dream about this place! About you guys! About... well, anything!" "Shut the f*ck up.", the blue one said. "W-who are you guys?" Edd asked. "I'm Matt!" The red one, now Matt, said. "The name is Tord. Don't mind the accent, I'm not an englofile like you guys." the purple one explained. "Tom." The blue one said, bluntly. "Sunshine! Unicorns! Rainbows! Yay!" (I guess Matt is kind of a doofus..." Edd said in his head. Edd knew that this would be a daunting task, but he knew that it would be necessary for all. So he said THIS: "I might not know much about how we got here, but I know you guys are here for a reason... so let's get to work."

This is going somewhere else once I have the time to make it. Oh well.
