I finished playing all the older God of War games (except Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta :')) and I decided I REALLY wanted to cosplay a genderbent Kratos (greek ver) believe it or not, this is technically a closest cosplay. Most the supplies I used are scraps from older costumes and I had to get creative. BUT i think it looks cool :)

Also bear with me, it's difficult to get a good picture of the full cosplay so the pictures I have are bad lol
I even did some body paint!

Okay, here is me (ignore my messy room) testing out the full cosplay. I had a bunch of unused EVA foam and foam clay I've had for some time. I used that to make the armour pieces (belt, shin guards, and the arm piece AKA the Golden Fleece)
The top was made of old scrap fabric I had after I made a mushroom hat and the red skirt is old scrap fabric i used to make a Hobbit vest a couple years ago.
The brown part under the skirt (cannot really see it) is an old brown shirt nobody wore and the gold ribbons on the skirt used to be red Christmas ribbons I cut and spray painted gold.

I wanted to order some foam Blades of Chaos for props but I didn't know if they'd show up on time before Halloween, so I got some cardboard and began making the Blades! They are actually pretty big and in surprised how symmetrical they turned out

My dad is probably gonna help me install LED lights to give make it glow and I plan on spray painting them and attaching a chain when its done.

This was my reference for the Blades

This was my reference for the Blades. My goal is to give them that flaming glow like shown in the picture. I think that would be pretty cool 😎

Annnd this is the model of Kratos I've been using as a ref!
