Anger runs wild
Pumping uselessly
Through streams valleys
Traveling faster chopping growing waves folding under
I become the rocks battered
Hate at nothing no one
Hate at everything everyone
No escape the dam is cracking
Water rising
Panic below
Protect the village
I slam my lips shut
Bite my tongue
But it spills up up
And over the edge
Vomited onto the ones I love
They are swept away in the Tsunami
All I can do is stand watch
And hope no one drowns
Hope they have the strength to rebuild
I wait for the wave to end
Then scramble to reinforce the dam
Make it stronger taller tougher
So no one gets hurt
Next time.
