Nari scrunched her nose, eyes slowly opening. The sight of the tree blocking the beautiful view of the sun and sky immediately greeted her sight.
"The sun's still up, isn't? It's still not setting. "
Hearing the same familiar voice, Nari couldn't help but to sit up and instinctively looked at the owner of it. Her eyes immediately watered upon seeing someone she didn't thought she would be seeing in real life. Face to face.
"S-sunoo? " her voice cracked as a big lump formed in her throat. She couldn't believe what she's seeing.
All the pain, all the sufferings she endured and still enduring for the past years are all coming back. The memories she had with him, the times where she are close of giving up, flashed through her mind.
A stray tear rolled down Nari's cheek which followed by another and another when the man in front of her smiled.
"Did you sleep well? "
And that's it. Nari loses it as she pushed herself to him and hug him tightly as she broke down.
It feels so impossible seeing him, touching him and talking to him personally. And Nari's overwhelmed for all the feelings she felt at the moment.
But she couldn't careless. What matters is she's finally meeting him. For the first time.
"Y-you're real. " Nari murdered, heart aching for unknown reason. "Y-you're here. "
Nari cried out when she felt a light tap on her back, as if he's telling her that everything's alright. That everything's fine.
"It hurts to see you cry, Nari. I don't deserve your tears. " Sunoo whispered. But instead of calming down, Nari shook her head, still crying in his arms.
"But you deserve the world. " she replied, hoping Sunoo to understand her.
The man smiled as he began caressing her hair. "The sun will set soon. "
Nari shook her head. She doesn't want the sun to set. She doesn't want her sun to rest.
That sole phrase left a big impact to her. It traumatized her. Everything she'll hear bout the sun setting, she couldn't help but to break down.
And now, Sunoo is using it again. And Nari didn't know what you feel.
"Let's watch it together, hmm? "
Nari doesn't want to. She hates sunsets but at the same time, she loves it. Sunset reminds her of him. It reminds her every suffering he had and that's why she hated it.
But sunset also means resting, right? It's kind of a goodbye. And Sunoo, he bid his goodbye because he'll rest from his sufferings...
"I love you. " Nari let out, scared that Sunoo won't hear it from her. She's scared that the other will vanished in no time, without hearing her saying those words. Because it hurts.
Sunoo smiled painfully. "But you need to move on, love. You need to take care of yourself and forget bout me. "
Hearing this, Nari vigorously shook her head.
"No no no no " she chanted heart clenching. The thought of forgetting Sunoo pains her. "I will never forget you. "
"But you need to if that's the only way you can move forward. "
"I-i... " Nari wanted to tell him she can move forward without forgetting the man. She can move on without forgetting the man.
