Dedicated to sufferers of Bulimia

Smiles in the day

But in the night she's sad

Because when she's alone

Without her friends

To laugh

To be distracted

That's when she thinks

Lost in a sea of thoughts, always pulling one way, always pulling the other

Dragging her under

Until the currents from her eyes

Pull her under

She almost drowns

Stares in the mirror

Hates what she sees

Lies and walks away

Pretends she's still happy

Walks past again

Cracks

The pain sparks a wave of hate

No one but herself to blame

Because around every corner

Hanging off every thread

Rearing its ugly head

Filled with dread

Gets back up, thinks she's a winner

Smiles

She doesn't need to be thinner

But it's back

Snapping it's head

Willing her to do it

Smiles

Lies

Vomits

Cries

Lies

Just an endless cycle

Of sadness

Joy

But then

In the end

She just wants to die
