Part 53

I woke surprisingly to a rather harsh sound.
"Oh you fucking dick!" I heard Thomas yell making me sit up in bed rubbing my eyes seeing him at the foot of our bed having battle with some tape "oh. Hello darling"
"What... What are you doing?"
"I'm trying to pack things. But this stupid tape won't stop sticking to itself!" He complained
"Awww it's okay maybe have five minutes rest. As I assume you've been at this all night?" I asked looking at the many packed boxes around the room
"Vampire. I don't sleep much remember."
"So yes?'
"Yes" he nodded before putting his stuff down and coming to bed laying his head in my lap so we could cuddle
"You excited?"
"Umm humm" he nods "very excited for your renovations my love" he smiled giving me a little kiss
Finally we had gotten things organized with the contractors to come and do the renovations we agreed on and since we had to empty the main house anyway we thought now would be a good time to go get all my things and officially move in together so Thomas had to pack the suite up even if he did have alot of help from Martin and other staff when they where available as both his mother and Ava and Oliver were moving to more modern buildings on the grounds while the work in the house is going on "and to go see my lovely little ladies house"
"Well just to remind you that house is all set up for before I met you"
"I know. And I'm excited to see" he smirked giving me a kiss before he got up and finished his packing sending his boxes off to his plane barn and the summer house with the staff while I got dressed and packed my bag to go home as we'd be staying at my apartment a couple of days before heading back here were we would be staying in the summer house until the work is done. He packed a bag too of a few things for him to wear and such and we headed down making sure to do a final check of everywhere important
"Oh. Darling can you pop to the study and grab my sketchbook for me while I bring the car around?"
"Course" I smiled giving him a kiss and scurrying off to his study grabbing his sketchbook and drawing stuff already packed up and left on the desk I quickly returned to the main entry way where the door was open Martin and another boy loading our stuff into my little car so I threw the last few bits and bobs in
"Right. Shall we head off then my love?"
"Alright, who's driving?" I asked
"I'll drive. You just be my beautiful little navigator" he smiled holding my cheeks and kissing my nose "it's going to be odd I haven't left the house in years"
"Well it'll be good for you" I smiled "time away from this spooky old house"
"True. And when we get back I'll be beautiful, spooky but have nice modern twists from my sexy young wife"
"Not your wife yet Thomas"
"Soon" he Cooes "I am actually really excited for underfloor heating. I am so excited."
"And light blubs no more lighting candles"
"We'll save millions in the candle budget"
"And electrical outlets anywhere we like"
"Ooohh, think of the lamp possibilities"
"And a fridge that dispenses ice"
"It does what?"
"Makes and dispenses ice. And drinks"
"Cool. But that's a few weeks atleast away so come on I wanna see where my little lady use to live before I spoilt her so much" he smiled so we climbed into the car "right.... There is no key"
"It's a push button start Thomas"
"Oh. Right oh like the plane?"
"Yes"
"Okay." He nods pressing the button "it doesn't go"
"Your seatbelt isn't on"
"So?"
"It won't start till you put on your seatbelt"
"Do I have to? My car has them I just don't use them"
"Yeah because your car was built in 1952, this car has to have seatbelts I mean... Legally"
"Alright" he shurgs going along with me and again pressing the button making it start up "ah! TV in the car"
"I mean kinda yeah" I shrug as the centre screen lit up for the satnav and music I touched the screen starting to put home in and he honestly looked as if I was doing actual magic Infront of him I moved back and he gave it a touch too
"Ooohh... Cool" he smiled memorized by the screen
"Come on Thomas or we'll get caught in rush hour" I laughed
"Oh. That sounds dangerous." He says slowly moving the car along clearly needing a little time to get use to it "is it also a legal requirement?"
"What?"
"To rush? During said hour?"
"No. But I think alot of people think it is" I said as we slowly for off the house grounds and of course then the satnav picked up the signal
"Turn left!" The car ordered making him jump in fear stopping the car completely"turn left!" It shouted again
"Uhhh okay... Car." he says nervous following her instructions "the car sounds angry at me"
"Yeah she is"
"She. There's a tiny lady in here"
"Thomas... Do you want me to drive?"
"Yes please"
