I'm The Machine, the writer of this fic, and before I start with my Ted talk, I would appreciate, if you liked this fic, to let me know with a kudo, comment or sharing my story.
This fic was written in Spanish, and I translated it into English by myself, as an experiment for future works. That's why any correction or comment about English grammar or anything else is welcome. Also, I apologize if while in the story you noticed any spelling mistake, because I don't know English fluently, it's hard for me to notice those mistakes.
I tried to use expressions/words that are close to what, according to my Draco's headcanon, he might use.
I am becoming more and more interested in translating, and it helps me to practice my English.
Literally. I'm writing this post at the end of July (After finishing the cover for Wattpad and ff.net), anxious for October to arrive just to publish it.
This is a special for Halloween 2022. I am happy to finish this little project.
The original idea came after I was writing a particular gore scene from my current long fic Drarry: "Slave of the Moon" and I wanted to see what could come up with Draco Vampire.
It's just an experiment, especially considering that: 1) I almost never write in protagonist narrator, I hope I got it right; and 2) I'm not too much of a fan of the vampire troupe (#teamWolves because I'm cold and vampires make me cold).
Or it's just preference for werewolves 🧐. Sorry I was never a fan of Edward (Cedric yes, obviously. And now also a fan of Batman).
Well, never mind.
I used a more basic concept of vampires. In part because I wanted to do, (at first) a one shot. I've been floating around a vague idea to write a sequel, literally 200 years after this fic. But I'm still in doubt, so I don't think I'll ever write it.
I must prioritize.
What thing, that I can't write a 16k+ word Draco Vampire fic? I accept the challenge xD
A friend told me I was crazy, that I didn't understand how from something as small as thinking, "What would Draco Vampire be like? If it was narrated in protagonist, it would be fabulous!" this can come out.
Believe me, I don't know either.
What I do know is that this is the finished product, and I am extremely grateful to give my fic a chance. That that my main goal; to get some smiles out of you, make you hate me for moments and/or make you feel something while reading.
