He was alone. Mommy was gone and no matter his crying, Thalia never came for him.
Jason choked on a sob again. It was getting dark out. Things always hid in the dark.
He sat, shaking and shivering in the California night. Cold and sacred. Lost in the night.
A piercing howl grabbed Jason's attention.
Multiple howls followed the first. All drawing closer.
They were coming for him.
The little blonde curled in on himself, even more scared now. Tears resumed their path down his cheeks. Small sobs escaped his lips.
Mommy wasn't coming back. Thalia wasn't coming to save him. They left him here alone.
They didn't want him.
