Lorelai wakes up the next afternoon with a pounding headache and a fear of what had happened last night, once she saw all the glass around her she squealed. with both Rory and Alexis out she was all alone with her mind spinning, once her eyes locked onto the phone on the living room table she once again feared what she had done the night before, she checked who her recently dialed numbers were and she was shocked to find she had called Luke 7 times last night, she decided to ring him now her mind was a tad clearer but still hazy regarding last night
*phone dials*
*phone rings*
Luke picks up.
Lorelai stumbles over her words

After a period of long silent Luke spoke
Lu: are you alright?
Lo: um..yeah
Lu: that’s not very convincing
Lo: I’m sat on my living room floor surrounded by glass and wine with no recollection of what happened.
Lu: you called me last night, you seemed out of it but I stayed on the phone to make sure you were alright, Alexis did come and check on you quite late last night.
Lo: you really didn’t have to do that for me you know, right?
Lu: I wanted to, you told me very quickly that Christopher had suddenly vanished and I knew you were heartbroken so I wanted to make sure my best customer was alright.
Lo: I should probably clear up this mess before Alexis gets back from school
Lu: I’ll come over and help and no I will not take no for an answer
*they both chuckle*
Lorelai hangs up

After a very long fifteen minutes pass for Lorelai Luke had arrived, she didn’t know how to tell him how she felt, the fear and dread was eating away at her.
*Luke knocks on the door*
Lorelai remains seated on the floor with tears once again falling down her cheek, Luke slowly let himself in upon hearing Lorelai crying.
He slowly came around the back of the sofa and touched Lorelai’s shoulder, he learnt in and gave the crying woman a hug before seating down on the floor himself to help her escape from the broken glass
As his hand slowly moved the shattered pieces away from her he looked up to see Lorelai’s tears started to slow and Luke leant in closer to wipe away the tears with a tissue from the table, he brushed away the big pieces with his hands so Lorelai could move so he could her up. He moved his arm up to her back to give her support and he moved his other arm to her waist to help her get up, she began to cry more and Luke tried to get her up quicker so he could help her in any way he could.
He counted to three before helping Lorelai up, she was weak at the knees and fell into his arms
She took a massive deep breathe and sighed and she began to hug Luke tightly, at first he didn’t know how to respond but he just stood there holding her and keeping her close.
