After that day where Cameron showed up at my house and said he missed me, he's been texting me a lot lately. Saying he loves me, he misses me, he wants/needs me etc. I didn't tell Taylor because Taylor was so happy! He has a song he's featured in with 2 Virgins. The song is called Buck Wild and I'm so proud of Taylor and Taylor's really excited for his fans to hear it. Taylor's also having a party too with all the guys. I'll just pretend Cam never texted me, that'll work right? I hope.

~Saturday~

Today was Taylor's party and I was going with Kayla. Kayla got to my house at 4 and the party starts at 8, we had 4 hours to get ready.

"What should we get started on first" Kayla asks me

"We have 4 hours, we can get ready in 2 hours. We don't take that long" I laughed

"Okay then, how are you and Taylor?"

"We're great! I love him so much and he loves me so much"' I say playing with my fingers. I want to tell Kayla the text messages I've been getting from Cameron, but I'm afraid that Kayla will say something to Taylor or that she'll tell Hayes and Hayes will tell Taylor.

"What's wrong? Are you cheating on him?! Is he cheating on you?! Kari!!" Kayla says shaking my arm.

"Neither of us are cheating on each other" I say looking at Kayla

"Then what's going on? Please tell me, you can tell me anything." Kayla really looked concerned now and I can really tell her anything.

"Ok so, last week Cameron showed up at my door. He said he missed me and held my hand. I thought he was with Peyton, but I don't know. After that, he's been sending me text messages saying he misses me and wants/needs me and he loves me. And I haven't told Taylor" I said looking at my nails again. It takes awhile for Kayla to comprehend what I said. Then she said, "you got to tell Taylor! You're about to go to a party with Taylor and Cameron. What if Cam is spreading rumors about you two being together?!"

"Kayla, in not gonna tell Taylor, especially at a time like this. When's he's so happy? That's when I love him the most and I don't want to ruin his happiness" I say.

"Okay. Do whatever, but you gotta tell him sooner or later." Kayla is right, but I'm still not gonna tell him just yet. "You just can't tell anyone, about Cameron texting me" I said seriously. "Ok, but-" Kayla gets cut off by my phone ringing. I accept the call and put it on speaker.

"Hello?"

"Hey Kari, what are you doing?"

"Is this Cameron?" I say looking at Kayla worried.

"Why yes it is, baby" I look at Kayla with wide eyes. Kayla gives me the same look.

"Cameron, I'm not your baby. Why are you calling anyway?"

"I just couldn't wait to talk to you. And you are my baby, you just don't know it yet." I just don't know it yet? I will never be he's baby.

"I gotta get ready Cameron, bye" I said and hung up. Why does Cameron want me all of sudden? Was Peyton not good enough? Besides the point, I don't want to be with Cam.

"What. The. Hell. Was. That?" Kayla said shocked

"That was the Cameron I was telling you about. The Cameron who texts me 24/7, but this was the first time he called me." I said getting up heading to my room and Kayla followed. "I don't like that type of Cameron."

"Yeah, neither do I. Now, what to wear?" I said opening my closet looking at Kayla.

"Definitely that dress with those heels!" Kayla was such a girly girl. Me however, not so much. "That doesn't suit me, you can wear it though." I said handing Kayla the dress and heels. "Omg really!?" Kayla squealed "yeah! It suits you. Now, what am I gonna wear?"
