Lav's POV
"Today's my birthday! *squeals happily* although, does Bosip remember my birthday? I hope so..." I thought to myself "Argh, Lav stop talking to yourself, dammit"
Me and Bosip have been friends since we were kids, even our mothers were friends, they introduced us to each other,
but... We went to different Elementary schools, Bosip went to the surface world while I stayed in the ocean, in mermaid school (and yes, I'm a mermaid)
I haven't seen him since then, until I think I saw him in high school at the surface world (I moved to the surface world and became human since third grade)
At the time, I had a friend named Alexia, she used to like me as more than a friend, but, she was confirmed straight in the end and we became besties ever since :).
(OK back to my birthday party)

Melodii(my little sister) : "I'll get it sis!" *opens door* "Uhh, big sis Lav? Is he your boyfriend?"
I spit out my drink, "Who are you talking about, Melodii?"
Melodii : "Uhm, maybe you should see for yourself, he said he wants to talk to you, alone"
Well, that's kinda concerning... I walked to the door and... Bosip was at the door...?
"I- Bosip? What are you doing here? How did you know I lived here?" *steps back*
Bosip : "Wait! I can explain..." *looks at Melodii* "Hey, can you leave us alone for a bit?"
Melodii nodded then walked away from us
Bosip looked at me, "Happy birthday, Lav" he smiled at me, so he DOES remember my birthday! (yay!)
