Prologue: A father's Decision {final}

[Alicia's pov]

"Hmmm~" I sluggishly open my eyes to see the morning sun peering through my window,

"*Yawnnn~*" I sat on the bed and stretched out my arms for relief, I then sat on the side of the bed "Amato... Its morning now" I heard no response not even a snore, this peak my interest so I look back to see a vacant spot on the bed "Huh... He must have woke early for coffee"

I stood from my bed and stretched my legs, god I needed that. So I then look to where mechabot was, finding him gone as well "hmm. He must woken up early too?"

I then walk to the door, opening I left the room, walking towards the stairs I felt a bad feeling in my gut, I didn't know why at first, until the look down stairs, my expression change in an instant as I saw Amato unconcious on the couch with wrappings around his body and scars which being patch by distress mechabot

"Oh my god Amato!" I frantically descending on the stairs, panicking I moved mechabot with no warning away and press my head on his chest, though faintly I can still feel and hear his pulse, oh thank god he was still alive "Mechabot!, Wh-what happened?!"

"I- I- umm!" Mechabot was having trouble responding from the stress he was feeling at the moment,

"Mecha!, I DEMAND answers! Wha-....." But then it stroke me "He... You... You two went off to beat a villain?, Didn't you!" Mechabot just said nothing, if he was organic he would be nervously sweating bullets right now, though his expression was more then enough evidence for that

Realising my temper, I then calmed down, since I was clearly making him even more stress out "Mecha... I know you and Amato better then anyone... So please... Just answer"

Mechabot inhaled and breath out "Yes.... We did go out on our own Accord... To confront, Im sorry" he just close his optics and look down at the ground. In all honesty... I didn't know what to think, so I just sat on sat the free space on the couch.

Nothing but silence was in the room, the two of just look down and never talk for one minute, it was only then I remembered that atheer had school today that i sat up and walk towards the stair way

"I better wake up atheer.... He has school today" I look back at mecha before going up the stairs, mecha just nodded then continue patching up Amato scars.

I briefly look at Amato, seeing the scars of his person being sealed by bandages, after that I went upstairs.

I opened the door to my son's room seeing that he was fast asleep holding on tight on his blanket for comfort, he was so cute that I didn't want to wake him up and ruin the image at first, but I pulled through and walk towards, sitting on the side I nudge at his shoulder

"Wake up sleepyhead, you don't want to be late for school" I said, in which he just covers himself more with the blankets

"Mama... Just a couple mints" his voice muffled under the blankets

"Now come on dear, don't be like that" I removed the blankets and then lifted him out and bed, to much of his annoyance which I just found adorable

"Mama... Where's papa?" He asked, my mood sunk to the bottom again, for his sake I put on a fake smile

"Your father is currently sleeping on the couch dear!" I answered

"That's unfair!, Papa can sleep all day while I have to school" he complained and drummed at my shoulders in frustration. I giggled at his outburst and walk out of the room with him in my arms
