You won't find your worth on a scale
A number does not tell you who you are
It may rise and it may fall
But it will not change your worthYou won't find your worth in a mirror
Those acne scars and bags under your eyes
The wrinkles and the moles
Some will come, some will go
But it will not change your worthYou won't find your worth on your body
The stretchmarks and cellulite
Your circumference or your height
Your hair, or lack thereof
The size of your boobs or of your phallus
You can change so many of these or keep them the same
But it will not change your worthYou won't find your worth in your wallet.
You can be rich, you can be poor,
You can be an employee, an employer or an entrepreneur
But it will not change your worthYour gender, your sex, your sexuality,
Your religion, your ethnicity, your nationality,
It will not change your worthYou can find your worth in your heart.
You can find your worth in your mind.
How you treat others, how you treat yourself,
This is what defines your worth
