Alizae POV:
"Mommy!" I screamed at the top of my lungs breathing heavily. My mother rushed into the room.
"What's wrong, darling? Are you ok?" She said out of breath.
"I had a bad dream. Can I come sleep in the bed with you?" I said.
"Yes, love. You can come on..." she said reaching out for my hand.
I grabbed her hand and then I grabbed my blanket and stuffed animal. It was a bear. I called her Ally.
We went downstairs and into my mother's room.
My dad was sleeping on the left side, snoring loud as always.
My mom closed the door as I stood there waiting for her.
She climbed onto her side of the bed.
"Cmon babe." She said laying down.
I got on the bed and went to the middle where daddy and mommy laid.
I drifted off to sleep holding tightly onto Ally.
~ the next morning ~
"Alizae! Wake up!" My brother Justin said.
I woke up. Rubbed my eyes and looked around. Daddy wasn't in the bed, neither was mommy.
"Where's mommy and daddy?" I said sitting upwards in the bed.
"They left for work. Cmon I made breakfast." He said walking out the room door.
I got out of bed with ally in my arms. And went into the kitchen. I sat down and put ally in my lap waiting for Justin to give me my breakfast.
"Your favorite." He said putting a plate down in front of me.
I ate my favorite food, which was pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausage.
"I heard you screaming last night. You ok, sis?"
I shook my head. "I had a dream where I was kidnapped." I said with food in my mouth.
He stared at me for a second before he said.
"Wow that's crazy. I know you was very terrified."
"I was." I said.
~ Couple Years Later ~
Justin's POV:
I was sitting in the police station for hours. Which felt like forever.
I put my head in my hands and let out a sigh.
I sat back in my chair, tapping my foot repeatedly.
Inpatient as ever.
Finally here comes detective Miles.
"Hey Justin sorry I took so long."
"It's fine. Anything yet on my sister?" I said nervously.
"Follow me." He said as he walked away and stood by his office.
I followed & he closed the door behind him.
"This has been a long & hard search. We still have no sight of her."
My heart sunk.
I finally said, "so I'm never going to see my sister again?"
He shrug his shoulders.
"We still trying to look for her. We don't want to disappoint you & your family." He said softly.
"Seems like you already did." I said getting up & storming out the office & the police station.
"Justin wait!" He said.
I never looked back.
