after getting William's last dance spot, I went to the snack table. I would usually end up there at my mother's parties too.

I turned around, looking at the groups of pompous, pretentious, rich assholes.

and in that long line, I see Tewksbury.

he looks very nice in his suit. cream is a marvelous color on him.

I know he likes when I wear forest green. ew... I just realized... he probably has a fetish for plants or something of the sort-

"You admire Lord Tewkesbury?"

"AH!" I dropped my crab cake. she chuckled. I did as well "NO!, I-" I laughed, awkwardly "h-he's one of my dear friends" I looked at her. she was staring at him. "why, do you fancy him?" he smirked

"I'm not sure. what do you know about him?" I huffed.

I knew that I could either do one of two things.

or two: be honest and tell her that he's a great man who is kind and treats everyone with respect because I only want him to be happy even if it isn't with me.

I knew what I had to do...

I sighed

"he's a good man. and a great reformer. he's... the sweetest man you'll ever meet" I looked at my shoes. she smiled "if you wish to dance with him, you may have to wait. There's quite a queue. you mustn't lose your chance."

she nodded, strutting over to him. I kept chewing on chocolate pieces while they spoke. eventually, I heard her say my fake name and he looked over at me. I coughed a bit and waved

"my lord... if we were alone, Tewksbury" I said to myself
