I just want to sleep-

*riiiiing riiiiiiing

"Haoyu! just curious on why I don't see a new chapter? You know the due date is 12:00-" familiar voice of my editor rang through my phone.
I quickly checked my phone-
[9:46]
Shoot!

I swear I had a draft... "where... where is it..."

"You didn't write it, didn't you? Don't think about getting any sleep tonight..."
'Don't think about getting any sleep tonight' a famous sentence from BL novels I've read, and even used myself... hearing it only had my heart feel like stopping due to lack of sleep.
Out of habit, I reached for my energy drink, only to find piles of empty can.

I did think about going out to get some. But I changed my mind as soon as I opened my front door.
Even if I didn't see any snow, the weather thing in my phone was saying it was snowing, in Mountain View.
"I thought I'd never see a snow here..." and I never will. No way in earth am I going out in this weather.

I tried to go back to my chair, but my head started spinning, making me stumble. Thankfully falling on my bed.
I really need that energy drink... it's only two roads to cross...
I grabbed my thickest jacket and went out.

I only had one more road to cross- but my head spun, eye sights blurred, making me stumble onto the road-
The last thing I saw was the blinding headlight of a truck and it's license plate: Truck-kun
Huh, weird license plate- I died.

In my life, I have only crossed in red light only once, and that once was when I died...

All around me was empty nothing... only black space...
"Ah!" I remembered, I did write my draft, just that a sudden blackout happened before I could save my draft... the darkness just like this took my chapter away.
