27. Do not be too close

Ok new day, new luck.

Oh boy I will need it in this hell hole. My wakeup call started with a drooling Demencia, sleeping over my bed. She had a few cuts and bruises but from what I witnessed so far; she could handle it. Finally in my outfit, I faced 505 in the corridor, also in a maid outfit. Suddenly I felt something soft against my back. Turning around, the bear laughed with joy. Not taking it seriously, I left him alone. Dr. Flug stood before the coffee machine, close to fall asleep. We bowed to each other before walking into the kitchen.

"Been working all night doc?"

"Yeah..." he moaned, facing me with a glare, "...because of you."

"What did I do now?!"

"You..." his finger pointed at the ground, "...destroyed this mansion and I had to fix your mess!"

"I thought I had to fix it."

"You are the maid...Lord black hat demanded this and nothing else"

"Flug, I am sorry. I try to do my best, but I don't know how to deal with a woman with such powers."

His hand gestured towards my face, stroking it tenderly, "How about complimenting her? Women love compliments..." his eyes narrowed, "...at least some do..."

"Hey, your compliments were downright cheesy"

He clicked his tongue, "I am a doctor Y/N, this was not part of my studies."

"Sure, it wouldn't help you to learn a few lines"

Flug shook his head, "Speaking of lines, shouldn't you be at the Lord's bedchamber?"

"Oh nuts!"

I turned around, only to feel something hit me in the back. Flug assured me that he just killed an insect on me, suppressing a giggle.

He was right and thankfully for his perfectionism of plans and timing; I was there sharp. She already woke up, looking angry at me. I nodded, not sure what kind of compliment I shall give her with this look. Her arms spread out, giving me the signal to dress her. From the corner of my eye, I could see black hat in bed, again in his suit, smiling devious at me. At this point I was wondering if this man has a PJ. Shouldn't he smell wearing the same clothes over and over...

"Ah, you incompetent brat!"

And another morning against the wall, with another major hole for Flug to fix. Sorry Doc.

Lady Tornado changed herself and stormed out of the room. Seeing black hat now standing beside the bed, made me wish for his wife to return. His smile was giving me the creeps. His finger gestured towards the coat and tie. I swallowed hard, as I remembered Flug's words to be quick. I grabbed on to the shirt and get the tie on in minutes. Next was his coat. Instead of turning around, he stayed still. I could have sworn he loved it how I wrapped my arms around him, to get his arms. It was deadly close to this man, that my heart was hoping to jump out and leave this place. I would have followed if he would have hold me in place. My blood was running cold at the feeling, seeing him smiling down on me.

"Dearest"

"Sir?"

"You forgot the gloves"

"Gloves?" I loved around, seeing the pair on his bed. I didn't see them a minute ago.

"Gloves first, coat second" was his remark, dropping his coat behind him, "Again"

With shaky hands, I got the gloves on, scared by the feeling of his fingers embarrassing my wrist. He didn't grab it, just slightly wrapping his fingers around. Next was his coat...again. I wanted to get around him, but he blocked my way. My only option is to kneel before him and get my arm around his leg. Now as I held it in my hands, his wife entered...seeing me kneel before her husband. It would have been easier to explain, If he hadn't had his hand behind my head.
