Chapter Sixteen: First Day of Work

Toni's POV

I stand with an angry and wet Sharpay and an equally angry Gabriella in Fulton office, I sigh as I try to calm Sharpay down considering that Fulton is probably just trying to do his job

"I told you to hire my girlfriends not her brother and his friends" Sharpay yells and Fulton sighs heavily

"You told me to hire your girlfriends but Ms. Bolton here...her father called me and said that I have to hire her brother...I did not plan for having this many people come but it's good for business and we are understaffed this year anyway" Fulton explains causing me to stop him

"Wait wait wait....so my father called you and told you to hire my brother as well.....and your also telling me that you hired everyone as well" I say getting progressively irritated

Ok I sound like an ass but I'm only mad at the fact that I don't have any alone time with my girls, every since we got together we've been surrounded by everyone and asked so many questions

Just wanted to get away

"I did discuss this with the board as well" Fulton says causing Ryan, Gabriella and I to look to Sharpay , we sigh and cover our ears

"Mother!" She screams before storming out

I sigh and apologize to Fulton before grabbing Gabriella's hand and walking out to follow our girlfriend

We follow her to our room and see she's getting dried off

"Baby please calm down....we can work through this" Gabriella says calmly as she walks over to Sharpay

"I can't when our mutual enemy took every route to mess up our summer together and my mother co signed it" Sharpay says angrily as she changes out of her bathing suit and I try to look away but can't

"Babe we can still have a good summer with them here...I hate to admit but I do have to train this summer and having the guys here makes it easy" I say and the girls look at me angrily

"But but but...I will separate it, I won't be training the whole time" I say and they sigh

"Fine but I'm definitely talking to my mother about this" Sharpay says as she wraps her hair up before giving us a kiss and walking out

"I should get back to the pool...I'll see you later baby" Gabriella says before kissing me and going to walk away but I grab her arm

"We can get through this ok....I'll keep him away from you both" I say and Gabriella smiles sadly before walking out, i groan in frustration before going to the shower to wash off the choline

Sharpay's POV

I storm into the yoga studio with Ryan and find my mother in her usual spot

"You let Troy work here mother, how could you and he brought the whole student body" I say in a yelling whisper

"Think of your future baby..these are your school chums and maybe you it could strengthen your relationship with Toni" My mother says as she does her stretches

"But mom, i wanted alone time with Gabriella and Toni..and our relationship is great, you and Dad like Toni and Gabriella" I say and my mother looks to me and Ryan

"I love Toni and Gabriella and you connect with them well but...you still dislike the basketball team so maybe use this to connect to Toni's world more" She says before greeting Ryan and they start doing yoga together causing me to roll my eyes

"But what about the talent show...I have plans for Toni, Gabriella and I and they will definitely sign up" I say sadly

"Your better than them with your experience...so blow them out of the water" Ryan says and I sigh heavily before leaving the two
