I wake up and felt the side of the bed. Nothing, I open my eyes and look. No Vinnie, I sigh and get up. I go downstairs and see nessa sitting at the table drinking coffee and looking at Jayden's picture.
Me- hey love, how are you?
Nessa looks at me taking a breath
Nessa- I'm okay, you?
She asks me
Me- same, ummm have you seen vinnie at all this morning
Nessa- I haven't
Me-okay, i have to go to the funeral home today. Did you want to come.
Nessa- I think Jayden would want me too. But
Me- listen if you can't I totally understand. I'm not making you do anything, you don't want to do.
Nessa- I know, but i want too
Me- okay
As i get up i hear the door open, i look its vinnie holding flowers and food
Me- vinnie
Vinnie- i know todays going to be hard for you so i decided to something nice for you and nessa
Nessa- thank you vinnie
I go over to him and hug him tight.
Me- thank you vinnie
Vinnie sets the flowers and food down. He grabs me, putting his head in my shoulder
Me- you okay
Vinnie starts to cry
Me- oh vinnie
Vinnie- its just hitting me i lost my best friend
Me- i know vinnie
He lets go of me and wipes his face
Me- if you don't think you can g-
He stops me
Vinnie- no I'm going, I need to be there for you and nessa
Nessa hugs vinnie
Nessa- thank you for always being there for me
Vinnie- i love you nessa
Nessa let's go of vinnie and we all set down and try to eat
1 hour later
I look at the clock, 30 minutes till we have to be there
I go into the room where nessa's at.
Me- we have to get going
Nessa- okay
I go down stairs where vinnie is waiting for me.
Vinnie- you ready to go love
Me- yeah
Nessa follows us out the door.
we all get into the car and drive to the place. We get out and stand there for a second. I grab vinnie arm and start to walk in.
30 minutes later
We all get back into the car and sit there. We are all in there in our thoughts. Vinnie looks at me as i look at him. He pulls me in and kisses me.
Vinnie- i love you y/n
Me- i love you Vincent
as we start to drive I get this feeling, like somethings bad about to happen. I don't know what but I can feel it.
me- vinnie
vinnie- yes
he grabs my hand
me- I have this weird feeling
vinnie- what weird feeling
me- like something bad is about to happen
vinnie- nothings going to happen I promise
he looks at me
I look at him and smile as I look back to the road
