as a vile operative you may think everything's all sweet, because vile says that everyone is family? wrong. if you aren't good enough then you aren't family, that was the story for y/n l/n, keyword here is "was"

y/n pov:

I walked to class, I opened the door, and as I entered I heard some snickering, some just stared in disgust, I sighed and shaked it off, i sat down in my seat, in the front ofc. 

class started as I felt eyes on me, I turned around to see that tigress was staring at me "what?" I said "you shouldn't even be here yk, this typa work isn't for the likes of you" she said with a sarcastic look on her face "Y/N pay attention. this an important class, you should spend more time studying then acting like a useless imbecile." said professor shadowsan, 

havent i given enough? 

y/n, always the fool

 my blood was boiling, but tears threatened to come out of my eyes, i looked down and nodded my head, fuck you all, ill show you one day.

class ended and recess started, i walked to the cafeteria, getting my food and walking to the back entrance, where i always ate, it was peaceful, and only boris and vlad knew abt it, so i didnt have to worry abt other students coming here, i took out a text book and a note pad, i started writing everything i knew, and everything read down, almost completely ignoring my food, i hear footsteps coming my way boris comes into the picture and sees what i was doing, he reached into his pocket and gave be a rather old looking notebook with a name on it, " student name: gunnar maelstrom" it read

"what am i supposed to do with this?" i said, "read" he coldy said, i did as told and there was some skills in this notebook that ive never seen before, answers to some questions that were too hard for even the most advanced students here at vile, i was shocked, why would he help me i thought, i wasnt complaining but why me? did he notice how the others treated me or did he feel pity for someone who cant get anything right?

anywho, i reviewed the book and took down notes of everything, it was almost time for examinations, so it was perfect timing,

day of examinations came and i was sure i was gonna ace every class, 

after exams bc im lazy asf<3

our results came in, and i checked the board, i couldnt find my name anywhere, i asked professor maelstrom where mine was and he pointed at the 1st one, it had a check on it, and i couldnt be happier! 

he congratulated me on graduating on top, the others were shocked too, i saw boris in the corner of my eye with a soft sincere smile, of proudness and happiness, i ran over to him, and hugged him, it took him a second to adjust, but he hugged back "thank you boris!" i said, he mumbled a "your welcome" under his breath, but loud enough for me to hear,
