Loth's orbs watched the large beast carefully.He lunged at her brother ,Niko.She wailed out, but no one heard her.The large canine whipped looking at her.It was her.The other side.Stained with her siblings blood.
Loth awoke from her nightmare panting heavily.Her cheeks stained with tears.She quickly wiped them away before Zarc awoke.She sighed and looked toward his resting body.She slowly embossed to her paws and bounded toward a small pond.A mist hung over her.Morning dew dripped off blades of grass.She lapped the water,taking in the silence.Crickets chripped and frogs croaked.The morning was peaceful.
"So where are we heading today?"Zarc called from behind Loth.She jumped a little shocked."Don't scare me like that!I could have attacked you Zarc."She said worried."But you didn't."He pointed out.
She sighed and gazed up at rising sun.It caused the dewdrops on Loth's coat to sprakle.She took in the warmth welcomingly.She then looked back at Zarc who was still awaiting an answer.
"We'll circle back, so that when the sun is at its highest point we'll be near a water source.Where I encountered Daidron."She replied."You must be looking for trouble."He joked.
Loth smiled and the two began bounding north.Zarc talked about his adventures he'd had with his sister before Daidron.Loth didn't pay attention she kept trying to remember her nightmare.She worried something would happen due to her other side.
"Loth did you hear me?" Zarc questioned looking at her."Hm?Oh yea Zarc I did." She lied.
They kept walking on.By the time they got to the water they where practically dying of thirst.The gulfed down what their stomachs could hold. Loth then dove in and Zarc after her.
"Surprised no ones came yet."Loth said looking around paranoid."They wouldn't think of you coming back.That's why."Zarc stated.
Loth assumed it to and the two enjoyed the water.She then hopped from the water and shook of ,but still damp.She looked back at Zarc."I'm heading hunting."She let him know and headed off.
She took in the warmth of the sun.Her fur quickly dried.She lifted her large cranius into the warm summer air.She parted her mandibles taking in any scent of another animal.A wet taste plastered to the top of her maxilla.She darted toward it,curious.When she arrived a small wet griffin played to the ground.Bleeding.Blood.Loth tried to stay sane,but her other side kicked in.This time no hesitation.She lunged forward onto it.Her ivories punctured into solar plexus.It screeched with agonizing pain.
Others appeared.The all kept attempting to rip into Loth's flesh, but she was to fast.She latched to ones talons having it screech and flea.The Ruby one grab her back legs causing Loth to yowl agonizingly. Zarc darted in.Embers flowed from his mouth, he then released his maws and fire bursted.He struck the griffin in the neck burning his feathers and scaring his neck.He took off leaving the golden one on the terrain to be eaten.
Loth returned to her normal self and starred at Zarc.Zarc smiled and dug into the Griffin.She smirked slightly and began to feast upon the griffin as well.
When they finished the headed back to water.The two sat under a tree.She sat starring at the stars.Zarc starred at her.The stars made her eyes sparkle.
"So what are you looking for anyway out here?"He said sitting by her.
Loth had never tooken to his size.He was an inch or two taller then her and much more masculine.His fur glowed in that night.His eyes shimmered staring at her.His fur was poofy and soft.
"Looking for where I belong.For a place that I feel where I fit in somewhere I feel safe."She sighed."I felt that way before my sister died.I felt like I wasn't needed anywhere else."He starred up at the stars too.
She gazed at Zarc.She gave a slight smile and gazed back at the stars with them.
