Two days later, I was still in hospital. Mason, Declan and Lauren were all sprawled around the hospital room asleep. Macy and Madison were in their cots beside my bed. I was watching them peacefully sleep until Macy began to cry.
I picked her up trying to get her to sleep or atleast stop crying but she didn't and then mason woke up.
"Hey baby. You need to be quiet because your auntie Lauren and your uncle Declan are trying to sleep" he said taking Macy off of me and attempting to quieten her down.
She stopped crying and then mason put her back in the cot.
"I want to ask you something" I said
"Anything" he said
"Can Declan be their godfather" I asked
"Of course, who else would it be" he said
"And Lauren be the godmother?" I asked
"They're the obvious pick" he said
"Great, can't wait to tell them" I said
"Same" he said
We laid in the bed together watching the tiktoks on masons phone and then Dr Webb came in.
"Hello" he said
"Hi" I smiled
"How you guys doing" he said
"Fine. Macy's a handful though" I said
"Wait till their teenagers" he said
"Don't remind me, I've already got a six year old and I'm dreading it" I said
"Did you not bringing him on holiday" he said
"No but there flying out tomorrow" I said
"Bet they can't wait tomorrow" he said
"I know, I can't wait" I said
"Well I only came in here to give you these" he said handing us a gift bag.
Mason opened it and pulled out two baby blankets and a card.

helping you deliver your two beautiful babies.

I looked up and smiled at the man.
"Thank you so much for everything" I said
"Your very welcome, here's my card if you have any questions" he smiled and then left.
"He was so much nicer than that doctor that delivered Myles"I said
"Oh she was a bitch" he said
"Oi language" I laughed
"They can't here us darling" he said laughing
"Oh yeah?" I said kissing his lips
"Okay okay you made your point" he said laughing
"Exactly" I said
Eventually Declan and Lauren woke up and we got released from the hospital. In the taxi back to the hotel I realised something.
"Shit" I said
"What"mason said
"We don't have clothes, bottles, dummy's, cots, we don't have tickets for them to get home" I said
"Right don't worry. I'll sort it all out" mason said
The taxi driver dropped me and Lauren off at the hotel and masons and Declan went off somewhere.
"How did your dad feel when you told him" she said
"He doesn't know. I haven't got round to telling him" I said
"Chuffing hell fin"she laughed
"What. It will be a nice surprise" I said
"What about masons parents"she asked
"Their also coming tomorrow, he just doesn't know so don't say anything" I said
"Your the best girlfriend he could ask for" she said
"I know" I said
I heard the girls crying from the other room so I got up and tried to calm Madison down while Lauren tried to calm down Macy. After they calmed down we sat on the decking and watched the sun go down.
I noticed mace and Declan had been gone for a while so I rang mason.
"Hi darling, is everything okay" He said picking the phone up.
"Yeah everythings fine. I was just wondering when your going to get back, because it's getting late and the girls are tired" I said
"We'll be another hour max"he said
"Okay, see you in a bit" I said
"Bye, I love you"he said
"I love you more" I said
Another hour we sat watching the sun set before the boys got back, I heard the door close and mase shouting my name.
"Hello gorgeous"mason said taking Macy off of me kissing her head lightly.
"Where've you been?"I asked
"Getting everything the girls need" he said
"Thank you. Your a life saver" I said
"I love you too" he said kissing my head
