Fiend POV

I walk out of the portal and appear in the Blood Swamps. I look around

Fiend: you know, for something called the Blood Swamps you'd think there'd be more blood

I walk through the swamps and once reaching the first open area I am greeted with a bunch of Demons. Imps, Soldiers, Hell Knights, Barons, Arachnotrons, even a few Pinkies. I make quick work of them all and once I kill them, I hear an ArchVile begin to summon Demons. I turn to him and instinctually pull out my Crucible. as I try to ignite it, I remember I lost the blade to the Titan

Fiend: oh for fucks sake

I pocket the hilt and pull out my Super Shotgun. I meathook my way over to the ArchVile as I freeze it with an Ice Bomb and begin blasting it with my SSG Ballista combo. after it dies I continue on to the next area. once there I see a whole bunch of Barons, along with a couple Tyrants and some Stone Imps. I Full Auto the Stone Imps, then pull out my BFG and kill most of the Barons and the Tyrants. only 5 Barons remained, and they were all possessed by Spirits. I hastily pull out my Ballista and charge a Destroyer Blade. once the Barons got close, I fired the Blade, slicing them all in half and exposing the Spirits. I quickly pull out my Plasma Rifle and kill them all with a chain Microwave Beam, Ghostbusters style. after that some more Barons spawned, some of which were Armored. in response, I pull out my UnMaykr and go to town, slaughtering all of the Barons and destroying the Armored Baron's Armor. I pull out my Chaingun and kill the rest with Mobile Turret. after that I walk onto what seems to be an altar as I hear The Seraphim speak

Seraphim: here you will need to pass the trial. once you have passed it you will be able to claim the Dark Lord's Life Sphere

Fiend: then lets just do this already

a few hours later

I walk back onto the altar and lay down

Fiend: fuck... that... took.... alot out of me.... is the trial meant to be that hard?

Seraphim: the Father did not want it to be easy to bring back the Dark Lord of Hell

I feel the ground beneath me shake

Fiend: AH! WHAT THE HELL!? WHAT'S HAPPENING?!

Seraphim: Maligog

thats when I see a Titan, who I am now assuming is Maligog. he lifts me (and the alter) up to the Ingmar sanctum. I turn back to him

Fiend: uh.. thanks? I guess...

I turn and walk over to where the Dark Lords Life Sphere was and look at it

Dark Lord: are you sure you are prepared now... for this?

I go to grab it, but hesitate. the though of going into this fight, fighting basically Satan, it- it terrifies me. what if I fail? what if reviving him just makes it easier for the demons? no/ Fiend, you have to do this. its your destiny. I grab the sphere and turn around

Fiend: ok, I've got it. what now?

Seraphim: now, you must head to The Holt in Urdak. once there, the Seraphs will revive the Dark Lord

a portal then opens

Fiend: ok...

I slowly walk into it. once I come out I appear in Urdak. I walk over to The Holt with the Dark Lords Sphere

Third Person POV

Fiend walks into a large dark room. there are 3 figures inside. 2 Maykr Seraphs, and the Seraphim

Seraphim: hand me the Dark Lords Life Sphere... and we shall revive him

Fiend looks a bit hesitant

Seraphim: is there a problem?

Fiend: n- no... no problem

Fiend then pulls out the life sphere and gives it to the Seraphim. he then hands it to the other Seraphs and the begin to revive the Dark Lord

Seraphim: the Dark Lord is the Leader of hells armies. not a King, but a warrior of the Dark Realm

as the Seraphim monologues, the Dark Lord starts to take form, and Fiend's fear settles in

Seraphim: the fiercest among them, as only the strongest could rule the Demons

Fiend then quietly gasps as the Dark Lord forms, and looks right at him
