Fear of the Worst Sort

     Donghua Dijun had not been to the pinnacle of Kunlun to talk to Fuxi.  He didn't think he could stomach seeing him again, even if he wasn't able to materialize anywhere but there.  He had thought it over and he decided he needed to talk to him.  He went to the bench there and sat down.  He waited for quite a while and was about to leave when Fuxi appeared.  "So you finally come to see me.  It must be something bad for you to finally break down to come here.  What is the problem?"  "You read me so well."  "I suppose I was the only one that could.  Not even Mo Yuan could see past your lies and deceit."  "How did I ever lie?"  "Well I suppose you did a lot of it in the beginning.  Why are you here now?  Is there a problem?"  "Well, It's those little girls.  They scare me."  "You?  Afraid of a pair of little girls?  How absurd!"  "You don't think they are dangerous?  I mean they did just ascend to high god.  They are only like teenagers.  They could get mad on a whim and just kill somebody."  "You actually think they would do that?  Has their Fuqin not taught them diligently for years how to control their powers and their tempers?"  "Well, Jinlong still has a slight problem with his own temper."  "He is much better now that he went on that trial to the mortal world.  He learned a lot.  Is fear the only reason you are here?"  "No, I saw the little girl, ah yes, Yuehai, walking around the Yeren realm with nothing but her white robes on and no furs.  Is she really not cold?"  "Bing Guowang gave a spell to the little girls when they were young to protect them.  She knows how to use it.  They are very smart, those two.  Just like your Gungun.  Your own Gungun has powers he knows nothing about because you fear to teach him.  Just what are you afraid of, Donghua?  Teach the boy and let Mo Yuan teach his girls.  They are his babies.  What if Bai Feng Jui had a little girl?  What would you do then?"  "Are you saying that she might be expecting?"  "Maybe.  Worry about your own life and leave those girls to Mo Yuan.  They would never do anything that would hurt their Fuqin.  They are afraid he would die.  They love him very much and would do nothing that would hurt him.  Now go and worry about your own son who has women on his mind now."  "What!?!"  "That's right.  He may soon bring home a woman of his own.  What will you do then, Donghua?"  Fuxi disappeared before he could ask another question.  He hung his head for a moment and left the bench to return to Qing Qui.  He blew up in the huli den like a whirlwind.  Feng Jui was sitting there reading a scroll and drinking tea.  He smiled as he saw her beautiful face.  Yes, she was beautiful to him.  He sat by her and looked at the scroll she was reading.  It was a scroll about the laws and regulations of her kingdom.  "Reading?"  "Yes.  I was just thinking about turning the kingdom over to Gungun soon."  "He needs more training.  I have some things that I need to teach him first.  Where is he?"  "I sent him to the market to get some fruit so I could make some cakes for him.  His birthday is coming soon."  "Oh, I see.  Then what better thing than to have his Mother make his favorite cakes?"  He leaned in and kissed her cheek.  The look on her face took him to another place and time as his thoughts carried him away to the very moment he really fell in love with her.

     JinDe had Yuwan and Jiaohua in the arena working hard as Mo Yuan watched.  He could see that JinDe was worse than he ever was.  "No, no, Yuwan!  Like this!"  He performed the spell again for her and had her try it.  "Er ge, I am tired and I won't do another thing!"  "You will if I say you will!  You disobeyed me and Fuqin.  It's time you learn what you can and can't do.  Now get to work or else!"  Yuwan had dark clouds come over her face.  She erupted her dragon and got right down in JinDe's face.  Mo Jinlong had had enough of a disobedient little puffed up dragon.  He was twice her size so he intended to show her a thing or two.  Beijixing blew ice at him.  He huffed out a laugh and followed her into the air.  Back and forth they went.  Beijixing was getting angry now.  She thought that she could beat Mo Jinlong, but she was wrong.  She was about to blow fire on him when he wound himself around her to subdue her.  Her anger knew no bounds as he huffed right in her ear.  "Gotcha!"  She built her power up and suddenly blew him off of her.  Mo JInlong fell from the sky and hit the ground hard.  He had ice daggers stuck in him all over his torso as he shifted on the ground.  Mo Yuan threw down his cup and jumped out to the arena to grab JinDe into his arms.  Beijiixing saw what she had done.  She turned and left to go to Qing Qui to get Jinzi.  Jinzi came out of the school as she landed and roared.  He ran out onto the steps.  She grabbed him and took off for Kunlun as fast as she could.  She landed in the arena with him.  Jinzi saw JinDe in his Fuqin's arms with blood running out of both sides of his mouth.  Yuwan shifted as she fell beside him.  "Er ge, Yuwan is so sorry!  Please don't die!  Please!!"  Jinzi looked up at her with anger on his face.  "Yuwan, go get the hulis.  Hurry!"  She left in a white puff of smoke.  "Fuqin, tell me what happened."  "Jinzi, hurry!  Mo JInlong is very gravely injured.  I fear for his life!"  Mo Yuan sent his energy into him as he held him.  Bai Xue staggered into the arena and took JinDe's hand before he too fell by his side.  Jinzi, seeing his Da ge fall, knew that this was bad.  Really bad.  Yingjie came running into the arena as fast as he could.  He stopped by JinDe and worked his spell.  He made a blue circle with his hands and called for his didis.  "Hurry Yi, Yan.  Er ge is trying to leave!  Hurry!"  Mo Yuan looked up as the first meteor fell in the sky.  He knew then that Mo JinDe was dying.  He looked at Jinzi with pure panic in his eyes.  Jinzi was removing the ice daggers one by one.  The last one was right through his heart.  Jinzi healed all of the other wounds and turned to the hulis.  "Help me now.  Er ge has a dagger through his heart.  If we can't stop the bleeding and remove it carefully, we will lose him.  Do you boys understand me?  We must go carefully.  Fuqin, you keep feeding Er ge energy please."  Yuwan was standing to the side watching the whole affair.  She called to Yuehai.  They had to save him!  They just had to!
