Chapter 1

Alex POV

Nagising ako bigla dahil sa tawag. Leche!! Kung sino ka mang hinayupak ka sarap mong sakalin!

"What?!!!" pagkasagot ko

"Good morning to you too."

"What do you want, Eve?" Eve is one of my close friends. we've known each other for 3 years

"Ang aga aga ang init nang ulo. Hindi ka nawawalan nng period Besh?" Napairap nman ako sa sinabi niya.

"Just tell me what you want, kung hndi ibaba ko na to!" I heard her chuckle.

"okay2x, just don't forget and be sure to be there later sa Horizon, bye love yah."

Then, she ended the call. Like seriously ginising ako nang maaga, to remind me? At ang party will start 8pm pa and sa sarili ko pang bar. I'm going to kill her.

When my grandmother died, I was surprised that she gave me 70% of her assets and will surely secure and not just me but also my future kids and grandchildren. Syempre as usual my mga relatives na tumutol. There's nothing naman they can do about it. When I came back here 1 year ago, I decided na ipatayo ang Horizon. I'm happy kasi it's popular na. My parents are supportive as long as, hndi ko pinababayaan pag aaral ko. I'm 22 years old and I'm currently studying at Duke University, this will be my 4th year as a nursing student. I had to stop due to an accident 5 years ago. Pina homeschool ako pra mapadali. My parents told me that it was due to a freak accident. I honestly don't remember it since I was in a coma for 2 years. I don't have close friends, naman daw, so it's not that important to remember my high-school days kasi ung part lang na yun ang nkalimutan ko. Selective amnesia is what they call it. I moved on and stopped asking kasi tama nga naman sila, hndi cguro masaya kasi. Why would I forget that part of my life, dba? Pero may part sa akin na gusto kong maalala pero may part din hayaan ko na lang.

I spent my time studying at hindi ko namalayan nka tulog pla ako. When I grabbed my phone, it had 16 missed calls from one and only Evangeline.

Evemaharot is calling...

Where are u? Kanina ka pa namin hinihintay! When I checked my watch, it was already 8.

WTH Alexandria Jean! Pag hindi kpa sumagot. I'll drag your ass out of your condo! Sunod, sunod na banta niya. Pano namn ko mkapagsalita eh walang tigil yung bunganga. I really don't know kung bakit ko siya naging kaibigan.

Babasagin ko lahat nang expensive drinks mo sa bar.

Doon lang ako nagsalita pagkarinig ko sa huling sinabi niya.

Don't you dare Evangeline! Banta ko sa kanya.

After almost an hour, I texted her.

I just left my condo. I'll be there in 20 minutes.

While driving my nakita akong babae sa daan at mukhang nasiraan nang kotse. Hindi ko nman pwede daanan at pabayaan dahil Gabi na at walang masyadong ilaw sa part na yun. I decided to park my car and went to her. Mukhang stress na stress siya. Bakit ba ko biglang  kinabahan. Hindi naman siya siguro multo kasi nka kotse? Napailing na lang ako sa naiisip ko.

When I'm almost near her. Mukhang nagulat siya pero bigla din nawala. But I'm more shocked, WTH! She's gorgeous, I know I'm pretty, but iba yung sa kanya ang expensive niyang tingnan. She's so pretty, but I don't think that's enough to describe her.

She's wearing a black fitted dress na nka labas ang right shoulder niya. Her eyes are so attractive and her lips. My God, with am I thinking? I have my fair share sa boys at girls, pero hindi ko pinapayagan na galawin ako at open din ako sa family ko.
