My lips are trembling as I ran towards the police station to report the crime existing under my residence. I am just  twelve years old, young and fragile. And I just witnessed my mom and dad swimming in their own blood in our living room's floor.

"What is your name, kid?" A police officer asked as she handed me a blanket to warm me. It was raining when I run my way through the police station for a help.

"S-Seon.. I am Seon Ivern,"  I answered in fear and envelope the thick blanket all over my shaking shoulder.

"What happened, Seon? You seems scared." Another policeman ask.

"My parents were m-murdered in our own house." Hot liquid coming from my eyes are starting to damp my  cold cheeks.

After I said that, the police officers are starting to throw questions at me, and I can't help but to be traumatized. They just made me remember the disgusting crime I have witnessed the moment I open my eyes from my deep slumber.

Mom's intestines protruded out from her belly and Dad's eyeball literally came out from it's socket.

Those bloody scenarios keep on playing in my mind over and over again.

~~~
It has been ten years since that crime happened in this exact place I am standing, but the case remains unsolved. Hindi parin mahanap ng mga pulisya ang may kagagawan sa kahindik-hindik na krimeng iyon at palaisipan parin hanggang ngayon ang pangyayari dahil simula ng mamatay ang aking mga magulang ay sumunod naman ang malalapit na kamag-anak at kaibigan ng aming pamilya. Parehong-pareho sa kung paano  pinaslang ang aking mga magulang.
And now that the murderer is on killing spree, the police officers who adopted me ten years ago, got frightened. For I am in so much danger that I almost die a couple of times already.
Car crashed, being shot, stab from behind, and rope. All of these almost got me making my foster parents cry in fear and came up with an idea of hiring a bodyguard for my security.
"I bet you're waiting for me." A deep and husky voice from behind, drag me out from my reverie.
I clenched my jaw and look back at him. So he's now here huh. What a dick for making me wait for hours.
"What if I'm not, stranger?" I retaliated coldly, posing a challenge.
He click his tongue, "that's nice then. I wouldn't want my boss to waste his time after all."  He laughed and I just remain indifferent towards him.
"Introduce yourself. I'm clueless here." I lied once more. My parents already gave me his profile.
Xerxes Acacius Demer, 30, a retired army, and single.
He did what I said, he introduced himself to me. I didn't speak back.
And he just stayed by my side like a statue, making me irritated. I'm not used to anyone's presence near me. I prefer to be alone.
So having Xerxes as my bodyguard was such a pain in the ass (at first). Hindi ako sanay na pagising ko ay may aroma nang nanunuot sa ilong ko, mga pagkaing nakahanda na sa lamesa at taong nakasunod sa akin kahit sa banyo ng aking kuwarto. Just plain bullshit right? That's not what a bodyguard supposed to do. He is doing beyond his job.
All the things he did for me are just making me whisper "what the fuck?" every damn day.
He is just so weird and amazing at the same time. His job is to protect me not to supply these foreign emotions I am feeling right now and these weird aliens rumbling inside my stomach. But the heck, man! I like it. I like him.
