Recap:
"Arizona King, you are one beautiful girl."
I froze, "How do you know my name."
"My little monkey, how could I forget you?"
I looked at him confused. Then it hit me. Only my dad ever called me that every since I was an infant. Then at the age of five I was put up for adoption.
"Dad?" I had tears in my eyes.
Then Michael showed up.
•••••••••••••••••••••••
Michael pulled him off of me and threw him on the ground. I sunk down the wall crying.
"I feel dirty." I cried.
Michael punched my so called father I heard popping. Then Michael started screaming,
"What kind of sick pervert father does things to his own daughter like that? Huh?"
Michael kicked him in the stomach ten more times. I'm positive his ribs are broken. He walked over to me and picked ms up off the ground. He pushed the hair out of my face and wiped my tears. He picked me up bridal style.
"Hey baby girl it's ok. He won't be coming back."
I cried even harder, "Mickey, I feel so dirty."
He smirked, "Mikey?"
I laughed, "Yes Mikey, but can we hurry home I feel so nasty."
As we were walking out of the alleyway Robert called out to me,
"You will be mine again monkey, if you didn't know, that's why you were put up for adpotion because I used to have my way with you. You're mother got in the way, she's the one who put you in there. She's gone now, but now she can't stop me I will have you."
Chills ran up my back. Michael ran out of the alley with me in his arms and he hurried for the car.
As he drove back to my house the car was dead silent. I wasn't comfortable, I wasn't awkward. We were sucked into our thoughts. Then Michael spoke,
"Baby girl how about I take you on a little date?"
I thought for a minute, "Like for a job or a real one?"
He half smiled, "A little of both."
I stared at him.
"Just think about it. I know you enjoy doing this now. You enjoy the compliments, the clothes, and the rush."
I smiled, "You're actually right. Yes, I'll go on a date with you."
Mikey smiled. We arrived at my house to find the door slighty ajar.
I whisper- shouted, "Michael, I told you to lock the freakin door."
He ignored me and opened his glove department that's in front of me. He pulled out a pistol.
"When was that put in there?"
Again. He ignored me.
"Arizona stay behind me at all times and keep this."
He pulled out a small pocket knife. I gulped. I also knew I should listen because he never, and I mean never uses my first name.
We got out of the car slowly and walked through the front door. The house was trashed. On the far wall by the living room was red spray paint with a little note on the wall:
"We will be back baby girl me and your real father both."
I gulped down my tears. I followed Michael towards upstairs in my room. He walked in slowly and checked the whole room and the connected bathroom. Nothing. The house was empty. I turned towards Michael,
"I can't stay here anymore."
He pulled me into a hug and held tight not letting.
I cried.
"I know baby girl let's go you don't need any of these things I have all of this at the house with our gang in it."
I nodded and followed him out the house paranoid. We walked out to the car and heard a whistle flying through the air.
I felt a pang of pain hit my stomach and I dropped. I struggled to breath. Michael ran to my side. I couldn't feel anything. Michael was screaming something at me, but I have no idea what he was saying at all. I looked straight ahead. I saw blue and red flashing lights.
Then, suddenly my whole world started fading out into utter blackness around me.
