Debriefing

It couldn't be over. I struggled to get up only to collapse again. Max smirked evilly as he slowly stepped towards my fallen body.

"You were never match for me, Liz and now I'm gonna kill you just like I killed your helpless, pathetic parents," he said raising his ice spear above me. Just seconds before it struck my body a sudden burst of wind came forth and blew Max back.

"Don't you dare touch her," Josh suddenly yelled standing in from of me engulfed by a tornado. Max quickly got back up smirking once again.

"Do you really think you can beat me with such newborn power," he laughed. Next thing I knew Josh was on the ground next to me trying to suck in air. I don't how but suddenly I felt rage build up inside of me but not only that there was also immense power. My eyes gleamed red and my lips formed a crazed, insane smile. I stood up stumbling slightly before tilting my head back and letting out a horrible, evil laugh.

"How are you standing?" Max yelled obviously annoyed and slightly confused. I lifted my head and smiled wider watching Max as his annoyance changed to fear as he saw my appearance. A sudden pillar of fire shot up into the air surrounding me blowing my hair up so that I looked like a demon women. Max fell back trembling in fear. Each time I took a step towards him the pillar got shorter. My wounds were completely healed.

"Poor, poor Max, underestimating me like that. Are ready to witness my true power," I taunted a foot away from his shaking body. I could tell that even the gang was scared of me at that moment. I stretched forth my hand twisting it so my palm faced upward. Max rose into the air above me and his eyes widened in utter terror.

"You are never going to bother anyone ever again, "I hissed. Squishing my hand into a fist, long blue streams flowed from his body striking all the members in the group. Each of them gasped when they were e while Max was screaming in extreme agony. Finally finished I dropped Max. His eyes rolled to the back of his head and he fell forward.

I turned to the others and saw Josh was back on his feet.

"D-did you kill him?" he asked.

"No, he is only unconscious. I 've drained of his power and know each of you has a least a little bit of magic," I explained.

"Really? That's so cool. Oh yeah!" Matthew yelled. I smiled slightly at how excited the others seemed.

"Let's talk about that later. Right now we need to take care of Max. Josh your phone," I said. Josh pulled out his phone and handed it to me. I typed in the number for the agency. They instantly picked up.

"This is Liz. I'm in the graveyard where my parents are buried. I've someone who needs to be taken away," I said.

"We'll be right there," the agent hung up. Only two minutes ten black cars pulled up. Tons of agents flocked out and I pointed them to Max. However when I turned around I saw them apprehending the gang.

"We know you are responsible for kidnapping Liz Miller. Do not try to deny it," one agent yelled grabbing Josh.

"Stop right there! Touch them and you'll be worse off then that guy there, "I yelled pointing to Max's body.

"But miss-"

"Was I not clear!"

"Yes ma'am," the agent sighed and the group was released. Ten minutes later all of us stood in an gray room facing the head of the agency, Mr. Vellir

"Who is that man?" he asked referring to Max.

"That man is Max Miller, my older cousin. He is responsible for the deaths of my aunt and uncle, my parents, and the recent murders of my school friends, "I responded. Mr. Villir's eyes widened as he took in this information.

"That is very interesting but now need to know why you stopped these boys from being arrested," he said.

"I think that they will be great additions to the organization under my authority," I said, " and I don't care what you think because I could wipe a country within five minutes right now so you don't want to mess with me."

"I doubt you could fight this agency, let alone destroy a country."

"What a fool you are. I have magical power. Where else would that large pillar of fire come from? I am fully recharged now that I stole power from Max. Believe it or don't. What you think won't change anything." I stood up, grabbed Josh's hand and walked out of the room, ignoring Mr.Villir's expression although it was hilarious. I pulled Josh outside, knocking out anyone who got in my way. Once we were outside, I turned to Josh and smiled, acting completely casual

"Let's go get something to eat. 1 MONTH LATER

I jumped over Josh, firing one last shot as he rolled away from the target. We high fived each other and I wiped some blood from my cheek.

"So how'd you like you're first mission?" I asked.

"It was was... AWESOME!" he replied.

"You guy's done showing off yet?" Zach yelled from behind us.

"Not quite!" Josh answered. Then he yanked mu towards him by the waist and pulled me into a long kiss, neither of us caring that we were in a puddle of the Suspect's blood. The rest of the gang groaned as the sun set behind us. THE END
