yuna was finally free to walk around the hospital with a necklace that tracked her location and sensed any emergency.
she had made one friend. jae sumin.
she was a nice girl, there in the hospital for cancer like yuna.
sumin was a 20 year old girl that was diagnosed with cancer when she was 18. she was an outgoing and usually happy girl. she had a boyfriend that left her after he found out she had cancer but she said she saw the positive side of her life.
yuna sat on sumin's hospital bed, chatting with each other.
for the first time in two months, yuna finally felt needed and loved.
seungmin hadn't seen her for a week. every minute that he was gone broke a tiny piece of her heart.
yuna held her phone in front of sumin's face, showing her all the seungmin fancams she could find. sumin was fascinated and told her how cool of a boyfriend he was.
yuna smiled and remembered months ago when she was happy. sky, seungwoo, seungmin and her. living like happy maniacs.
"sumin, it's time for your chemo. say goodbye to yuna." nurse kim said, hooking up a bunch of things to machines.
yuna waved bye to sumin and skipped her way through the hospital. she grabbed some lunch, a sandwich that reminded her of america, and some fruit juice.
she ate like she hadn't eaten in years, not being careful of chewing thoroughly.
she threw the tray away and skipped along, until she ran into nurse yoon.
"looking good, yuna! your treatment should be done by the end of this month." nurse yoon smiled. yuna beamed.
she could finally spend time with seungmin like she had longed for.
