~At Home, Y/N's POV~

Kobayashi and I are in our room getting dressed for the day as Tohru cooks breakfast.

Y/N: Hopefully work will go smoothly today.

Kobayashi: *Yawns* We'll just have to wait and see.

Tohru: Mrs. Kobayashi, Y/N, Kanna! Breakfast is ready!

Y/N: I guess we will, but first let's get some food in our stomachs.

Kobayashi: I couldn't agree more.

The two of us walk out the door to see Tohru and Kanna already at the table ready to eat.

Tohru: You two sure did take your time.

Y/N: What can I say, I like to take things slow.

We all grab our food and dig in.

Kobayashi: This miso soup is pretty good.

Tohru: Thank you. I made it only using ingredients from this world too.

Y/N: *Stops eating* Wait, does that mean everything else you've cooked before had ingredients from your world?

Tohru: Yep! I decided to try cooking without them this time.

Y/N: *Continues to eat* Interesting.

After we all finished eating we got up and finished getting ready for the day. I was the first one at the door as Kobayashi and Kanna followed after.

Y/N / Kobayashi / Kanna: We're off!

I open the door to let the other two out.

Tohru: Yes, watch out for cars!

Y/N / Kobayashi: Got it.

Tohru: Kanna, make sure you don't destroy them if you run into one.

Kanna: Yup.

Y/N: We'll be back before ya know it! *Waves and shuts the door*

~3rd person POV~

Tohru turns around to face away from the door.

Tohru: Yes! This morning I wasn't chastised by Mrs. Kobayashi or Y/N for any mistakes.

She then throws her fist in the air as a victory pose.

Tohru: It was a perfect morning! I must be improving my skills as a maid. Perhaps that means I'm getting used to this world too?

Tohru then looks out on the balcony to see some crows biting at the clothing she put out to dry. After seeing this she blasts the balcony to shreds making the sound of an explosion.

~Y/N's POV~

After walking for a little bit I hear a loud boom in the distance causing me to stop in my tracks and turn around.

Y/N: *Sighs* That was definitely Tohru destroying something.

Kobayashi: *Turns to see Y/N stopped* Is something wrong, Y/N?

I turn back around and catch up with Kobayashi.

Y/N: *Smiles* Nah, I'm just hearing things.

~Timeskip to work~

Kobayashi and I are at our desks doing our work until one of our co-workers walk up.

Co-worker: *Looks at Y/N and Kobayashi* You two have been happier lately, haven't you?
