My Funeral

do not cry, do not weep.
it will not bring me back,
my soul has since departed.
do not cry, do not weep.
i am not that headstone you pour your tears near, nor is it necessary to miss something forever gone.
do not cry, do not weep. granted, my body no longer breathes, but have been dead long before that.
do cry, do weep.
for it is my funeral, and I am six feet deep
no longer seen. no longer heard, forever a momory and nothing more.
