She could feel the wind on her face, smell of the air that brought her back to the one place she would always belong.
The fire orange sky, allowing the yellow sun to slightly peak over the mountains. This was always her favourite time of day, her favourite place, on the first horse she'd ever bought.

Daisy was a buckskin mare who was as sassy as, well, a mare. But none the less, the two got along like nothing you'd ever seen. To a watching eye, it was like they could read each other's thoughts.

It was like every morning before the woman went off to college. Ever since she bought Daisy, she'd sneak outside every morning and go into the barn. She'd brush and tack up her horse and book it to pasture 8 to watch the sun rise.
As the two watched the sun rise for the first time in four years, they could hear a horse approaching from beside them.
On that horse was a determined dark haired cowboy whose eyes were as blue as the sky, they glowed with the sunrise. As the woman lifted her head ever so slightly so the man could see her face under her hat, the cowboy's stern face softened.

"Good morning" the man said

"It is" said the woman

The cowboy smiled. "Mighty early to be out for a ride"

"It's never too early for a ride, especially with this view" replied the woman, returning her gaze to the sun that has now reached over the mountains.

"That's true" said the man, not breaking his gaze from the woman. Her red curls glistened in the sun, her blue eyes as crystal blue as the ocean. The cowboy couldn't understand how the woman made ranching clothes look so perfect. Fit so perfect.
After a few moments, the man focuses his mind back on the task that led him to this pasture. The mysterious woman who is trespassing on his boss' land.

"Ma'am, do you know whose land you're on?" He asks

The woman smiles and answers "I do" without breaking eye contact with the sunrise.

The cowboy, curious as to how this small woman is so brave to trespass on the Dutton ranch reluctantly says "well if you know who this ranch belongs to...than you should be getting along. You are far from the end of Dutton property. We wouldn't want any trouble to catch up to you"

The woman grins and turns her head to face the cowboy "thank you for your kind advice, I can handle trouble that faces me"

The man determined to scare her off before any of the other stable men come, says "If you don't leave the property I'll have to take you back to my boss. He'll want to have a discussion with you"

Almost instantly, as if it was a challenge the woman replies "I'd like to have a discussion with him"

Taken by surprise, the man is quite for a moment. As if he is worried for the girl, he reluctantly turns his horse and they ride side by side back to the ranch.
