Some folks say that there are people who come into your lives with a purpose dedicated specifically for you, and although you might not know why, they bring the most important lesson of all. Their path entwines with yours only for a short time, and it is easy to ignore their message in the present, only realizing it's value until after it has gone. Hardly any are keen to listen when it is they themselves they have to change, for people do not like to sway their stubborn hearts. Oh, how good the world would be if men were not so selfish, and how changed their lives would be if they put others before themselves. Alas, they all learn this too late, when they have missed their chance, and thrown away all hope. They are left forever wondering how it would be if they had changed, forever wondering the haunting question: what if?
