Chapter 27 "spooky encounter"

Shim and sheen as the spooky season begins.
Costumes and decorations all over the place really giving this little town a feeling of the season.
Two boys holding hands and knocking on doors obviously excited.
"Offer or suffer!!"
The boys yelled as skid was on pumps back.
The person smiled passing candy to the two's bag
Skid and pump smiled widely, as pump walked away
"This is great!" Pump exclaimed as he walked down the street, skid nodded placed his head down, watching the houses pass by. Something else caught his eye, a tall figure, devil horns and a red turtle neck, and a jolly looking smile. Skid sprung up and waved to this unknown stranger.

The strangers smile grew wider while they waved back, skid chuckled causing pump to hum
"What's funny?" He asks wanting to have a laugh with skid
"There's this red guy over in the dark!" Skid said pointing at the now empty area causing skid to gasp a little "he was just there!!" He exclaimed jumping off pump, the boy had to rebalance himself from jumping off so suddenly.
"Did you know..that an adult human body has 650 muscles?" A mysterious voice said from behind the two.
Skid and pump didn't waste any time to turn around to spot a awfully tall man, with a devil costume and a wide ranged smile, pulling out to what seems to be a knife swiftly.
Skid shook his head "I didn't..but now I do!" As pump nodded excitedly.
The tall person seemed to be taken by surprise
Skid immediately flinched
"HEYYY! You're that guy that got taken away from the police!" Skid gleemed
Pumped had a face of 'what the fuck-' and 'PARDON??'
The tall figure smiled again,
"Is that so?" He said tilting his head and placing the knife back. Crouching to the children's level, pump had an obvious face of discomfort.
"Hmmm..skid, if I'm correct. I knew your mom ages ago." He said with a laugh
Pump's urges to pick up skid and leave was strong. But he couldn't looking at skid light up with joy to meet someone always made him give up quickly
"Wow!! Ages ago? You must be old"
Skid said bluntly, as the stranger chuckled "only a little. I'm Bob. Bob velseb." The stranger known as Bob got up fully, "hey! Want to come treat or treating with us?" Skid asks, as pump snapped his neck to skid
"What?? Him?..he-" before being interrupted with a bone chilling cackle.
"I don't see why not" Bob said with a wide grin.
The grin staying in place made pump feel sick.. nervously sick at best,

The three went house to house getting more candy then usual. Some even gave the whole damn bowl, skid was pleased by this as the taller figure ate some of the goods.
"You really like candy huh mr.Bob!" Skid asks excited.
Bob nodded, he seemed quiet now.

As for some reason pump didn't like the vibe of "Bob" velseb. He gave a weird killer vibe. But that wasn't quite hitting the spot about it.
Pump sighed a little as he ate a pumpkin bar, merely looking at Bob felt bone chilling, being awfully tall..always smiling and the awfully blue eyes made him wonder,

The eyes caught his interest..
They looked like...eyes, pump shook his head a little "no no this has to be some kind of mistake..it can't be eyes, eyes is nice!..made it's something else.."
He thought walking along bon and skid..
