Apollo's POV
"Shit, I'm late!"
I rolled out of bed and felt a headache spring in right between my eyes.
I should really stop smoking
I broke down laughing at my own thought. Who am I kidding?
Before I distracted myself again, I quickly took a shower and got ready for Eden's dinner.
My phone rang on my dresser. I picked it up and out it on speaker.
"Apollo speaking, state your case." I said as I lotioned up and put my undies on.
"You're late aren't you?" Carter said knowingly.
"Hey, don't judge me okay? I'm going though-"
"A quarter life crisis and you're trying your best. I know, I know." she said through a chuckle. "Just hurry up. Eden said she's bringing a guest and I don't want to be around people tonight."
"I'll be there in like twenty minutes to be your social buffer." I said.
"I appreciate you so much buddy." she said and I shook my head at my antisocial bestfriend.
"I can't multitask so drop the call. Thank you." I said as I put on the rest of my clothes.
"I love you too." she teased.
"Yeah, yeah." I replied as I put on some cologne.
She dropped the call and I slipped it into my pocket before giving my hear a little care and quickly heading for the garage to get my car out.
I began my drive surprisingly on time.
