"Are you sure this is the one you want" asked Carlos as he watched his new friend give into her expensive ideas.
"Yes look it in all its beauty" her sales associate from Ferrari had messaged her after seeing her instagram comments and the media around her newfound friend who just so happened to represent the brand.
"Well who am I to judge" he jokingly accepted on going with her thinking it was all a ruse but imagine his shock when they pulled up to the closest Ferrari auto lot.
"You think you can give me a discount" she winked at him as her sales associate went to go finalize the papers for her.
"I work for the company not own it" he explained.
"Still you think they would at least give you an employee discount" continuing of her joke she watched as he laughed her off.
"Querida I can barley afford to buy one and I like I said I work for the damn company not own it" it's true the f1 star made quite a handsome amount of money but that was nothing compared to the world wide star of front of him.
"Wow imagine the headlines Ferrari's own racer can't even buy his own" teasing him, she made sure he knew as she wrapped her arm around his shoulders and gave him a little squeeze which was quite difficult considering she wasn't his height.
"Hey not all of us our entrepreneurs, football stars, designers, and whatever the hell else you are" hip bumping her he enjoyed as a little laugh fell passed her mouth.
"By the way I think I managed to make time for your race in Brazil" her plan was to eventually visit Brazil again anyways as she was looking into opening a boutique there so why not go and support her friend while being there.
"Really that's awesome. I'll get you that guest pass before I take off" he had to leave for his next Grand Prix in two days as it was the last one before Brazil.
"Actually can you make it two. I think Ney might want to tag along" her Brazilian friend jumped at the opportunity to return back to his homeland.
"Yeah no problem but I expect both of you to be rocking red" he hinted towards his own team.
"Seems agreeable enough" right as she said that the sales associate walked back in with a pair of shiny brand news keys.
"You ready to take her home Ms. Catalina" he held the keys up for her to take which she excitedly did before making her way out.
Like a little kid she stood in front of her brand new baby, one more added to her collection of luxury cars. It was a pristine white color with leather brown material on the inside and like most sport cars was a two seater with no roof at all. It was quite a big price tag to overlook but it was a decision she wouldn't regret as this cars was on of a kind. After all she took the words of her ex to heart she did look better in white.
