Opening my eyes slowly, the first thing to catch my attention was the blurry sun. It burned brightly, and made my eyes feel sore. I could tell it was morning now. Standing up, I noticed my shorts were covered in sand.
"Oh wonderful." I sighed to myself, brushing the sand off my legs.
I looked around, where was I? I squinted my eyes when I noticed something in the distance. A demon monkey thing came running at me, waving a stick around.
"What the-" I said, confused.
Noticing that it seemed angry, I ran in the opposite direction. I didn't look where I was going and ran straight into a tall rock. Last thing I saw before I was unconscious was a bright yellow glow.
When I woke up, I instantly looked around. Now, my surrounding were different. I was no longer in a vast beach surrounded by rocks, but instead I was in a city. Full of people. I grimaced as I watched strangers pass by each other and talk casually to other strangers. Continuing to look around, I noticed a strange man stood near me.
Suddenly, I saw who it was. "Zhongli!" I thought, excitedly.
But then I thought, if Zhongli's here, then does that mean I'm in Teyvat or am I dreaming? He looked at me and nodded.
"Hi." I awkwardly said, trying not to be happy over the fact I'm near one of my favourite characters.
"Hello," He replied, "Are you okay?"
I nodded curtly, embarrassed because of how tense it was. "Yes, I'm fine." I managed to say quickly. "He's really pretty up close." I thought, looking at his face.
"Good, I have business to do so I must leave," He said, "If you need me, you can find me here." He smiled one last time before walking away. I gazed after him, "Oh god, he's pretty." I muttered.
