Because I Love You

Chapter 4

"Keefe, I need to go." Sophie said. "I need to tell Biana, and pack, and do a lot of stuff. Bye!" She had reached to her home crystal, but just before she put it to the light, she ran back and gave him a quick kiss. 

"Um, I'm still here, you know." Ro said. Keefe, though, was thrilled. "See you, Foster!" He said.

When Sophie reached home, she went inside to Grady and Edaline. "Hey guys, I'm going to Everglen for a sleepover. Keefe is coming as well."

"Um, sure!" Edaline said. 

"How is Keefe?" Grady asked. 

"He's great! And um, he's, uh, we, ... you know," Sophie stuttered. She walked to Edaline and whispered to her.

"Kissed."

Edaline squealed loudly, and for a split second Sophie wondered whether Biana had used her ability as a Vanisher to spy on them. But it was actually Edaline,and she hugged her. "FINALLY!"

"Ok, I gotta pack. Bye!"

"I. Want. The. Details. Tomorrow!" Edaline yelled. 

Sophie leaped to Everglen, and was fully prepared. She knocked on the door of the palace like house. Fitz answered the door, and her heart didn't flutter a bit. "Hey, Sophie. You came!" He said. "How is Keefe?"

"Awesome. He's coming by as well. That's okay, right?"

"Yeah! So, I kinda had to tell you something. You know, when we were together, right? So... do you wanna start being my girlfriend again?" He asked.

"Wow, Fitz, that's... um... I'm sorry, but I love someone else." She blurted.

"WHO?! Is it that Keefe?" Fitz spat.

"Yes! It is! As his friend you should be happy!"

"I'm so much better than him!"

"You're not. I love him."

"Yes, Fitz, Sophie loves me." A voice from behind said. It was Keefe. He had arrived. 

"How dare you say that?!"Keefe yelled. 

"Guys! You're best friends!" Sophie said, but it was unheard when Fitz pounced on Keefe. They were fighting like cats and dogs.

'Oh no,' Sophie thought.

"BIANA!!!!"

I need some inspiration, guys. They WILL be friends again though. I believe in the power of friendship!
