A/N Part 2 of the engagement party, enjoy!

Izzy looked at the mirror, sitting down on the vanity table, Magnus standing behind her, hands on her shoulder.

"There," Magnus said, "You're fine. Breathe."

And Izzy did. They'd gone for light blue eyeshadow to match her dress, a light pink lipstick, masscara, and simple eyeliner. They'd done her hair up into fishtail braids, and by the Angel, did she look gorgeous.

"Thanks, Magnus," Izzy smiled at her brother-in-law.

"No need for any of that," Magnus smiled, "I'm so happy for you. And Max has been asking for a cousin for the longest of times."

"Oh shut up," Izzy sighed, "It took this long for Simon to propose."

"He loves you, that's why," Magnus said.

"Yeah," Izzy cut off, heart filling with memories of everything her and Simon had been through to get to this happy stage, "Yeah. He loves me and I love him. So much."

"Come here," Magnus whispered and pulled Izzy into a bone-crushing hug and Izzy cried a few happy tears, and Magnus kissed the top of her head. He pulled away and with a small blue spark, wiped her tears away.

"Smile, darlin," Magnus said, "It's your day."

Just as Izzy smiled, there was a knock on the door. "Izzy?" Simon's voice.

"Do you want to come in?" Izzy asked.

"Is that even a question?" Simon responded, "Of course I want to see how beautiful my warrior princess looks."

Izzy blushed and Magnus couldn't help a little teasing smirk, "Well, that's my cue to leave."

Magnus opened the door and Simon gave him a high-five and with that Magnus left to find his husband and children. Simon entered the room and his jaw physically dropped, brown eyes getting cloudy.

"Oh my gosh," Simon started, "Isabelle. You look so good. So gorgeous."

Simon swept Izzy into his arms and kissed her, so gently, a wonderful fairytale moment kiss. "The only time you've looked prettier is when you were wearing shorts, and one of my hoodies, with your hair in a messy-bun as you tried to cook."

"Oh wow," Izzy laughed, "So I should wear a hoodie to our engagement party?"

"Oh absolutely not," Simon grinned, "That sight is only for me, thank you very much."

Izzy threw her hands around Simon's neck, pulled him in until their foreheads touched, his hands cradling her waist. "I love you, Simon."

"Not as much as I love you," Simon muttered back, "I love you so much."

And then they kissed for a long time.

Clary, Jace and Alec were standing at the entrance of the Institute, welcoming the guests as they rushed in: the Blackthorns, Tessa, Jem, their child, Lily and her clan, Maia and her pack, and soon the Institute filled, with Simon and Izzy nowhere to be seen.

"Someone needs to find them," Clary muttered.

"And walk in on them making out for the hundeth time?" Jace mocked, "No, thanks."

"Grow up, Jace," Alec rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, Jace," Clary said, eyes gleaming with joy, "Honestly."

"I still don't know why my wife and parabatai enjoy teasing me quite so much," Jace said.

"Because you're still the immature teenager you were many years ago," Alec answered.

"Wow, thanks," Jace rolled his eyes.
