3rd Person POV, No one
It was sometime later after the morning meeting was concluded and Naegi was wondering the halls until he came back upon the dining hall.
His mind flashed back to when Taida lashed out at everyone and he couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness for the girl. While he believed that they really shouldn't be here for life, he had to remember that everyone has their own opinion in which they were entitled to. And besides, her thoughts were not unlike what Celes said before about "adapting" (even if he had trouble believing her words but he chose not to contradict her as he had already seen her angry and he rather not be on the receiving of that) and she seemed fine with the idea of an indefinite communal life.
"But why is she like that? Surely she has someone on the outside waiting for her? Worrying over her?" A harrowing thought hit him, making him suck in a breath.
"Maybe that's the problem!" His eyes widened. "Maybe she doesn't have someone who cares for her! And perhaps her standoffish attitude is just a front! And may explain her laziness and lack of motivation... Perhaps she is depressed and had no one to turn to!" With those thoughts in mind, his mind was made up.
"I will help her!" His eyes became very determined. "I will show her not all hope is lost!"
As he entered the dining hall, he instantly realized he wasn't alone.
Hearing some clanging around inside the kitchen, he went to investigate.
Easing the door open, he was surprised to see Taida herself, gathering some cooking utensils and had a notebook held open while hurrying around to pick out ingredients.
He watched as she was nearly a blur in the kitchen despite the amount of noise filling the air. At one point she came to one of the cabinets that seemed a bit out of reach for her. She huffed a bit in frustration, no doubt because she was so short. She then began to climb up on top of the countertop, apparently still having not seen Naegi yet.
She began to slip slightly as the countertop was a bit slick which caused her to fall backwards.
Acting on instinct, Naegi scrambled to catch her before she could hit the hard floor below. Unfortunately one of his shoelaces were untied; so while he did break her fall, the two ended up in a very compromising position, where Naegi was under her holding her by her waist while she looked to be almost smothering him with her breasts.
Shaking off her disorientation, Taida felt her entire face go ablaze once she saw herself in the position she was in with the ahoge-haired boy.
"Oh dear sweet Sinnoh what just happened?!?!?!" Her thoughts went into a panicked spiral having no idea what to do.
Taida.exe has stopped working...
Naegi was in the same boat as the bluenette, especially with his face in her, ahem, assets. Who would have guessed she was so stacked with the oversized T-shirt and the odd jacket she insists on wearing even indoors?
"Down, boy!" Naegi thought to a certain part of his anatomy as he did his best not to have a nosebleed right then and there.
And as luck would have it, someone just had to walk in.
"Man I'm hungry!" Naegi instantly recognized the voice as one of the girls, Aoi Asahina. She turned right around the corner as she continued to talk to herself. "I could use a few donuts-" She froze midstep as she caught sight of Naegi and Taida.
And to make matters worse, she took the whole thing the wrong way and did the most natural thing anyone else (probably) would do.
