Lilith (Elsher) Cerulli, 35, of Scranton, PA passed away June 7th, 2022. She was born October 30, 1987 to Lewis and Jenna Elsher in Scranton, PA. Lilith graduated from Scranton High School, then went to Texas to earn her mortuary degree from Dallas Institute of Funeral Services, and her law degree from Texas Tech University. After she received her degrees, she moved back to Scranton where she opened her funeral home, Solace Family Funeral Homes. After the passing of her first husband, James Solace, Lilith reconnected with her high school sweetheart, Christopher Thomas Cerulli, and soon they were married. Right after the wedding, Lilith was desperate to change to the name of the funeral home and remodel it. Together, Christopher and Lilith transitioned the funeral home to Cerulli Family Funeral Homes.
When Lilith wasn't running Cerulli Family Funeral Home, or practicing law, she could often be found in her art room painting, or spending time with her beloved husband, Chris. She was also very fond of singing, reading, and watching horror movies. Lilith will be remembered for her kind heart and her many years in the funeral industry serving families. She will be dearly missed by the community.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband and high school sweetheart, Christopher Cerulli; best friends, Vinny Mauro, Ricky Olson, Ryan Sitkowski, and Justin Morrow. Lilith was preceded in death by her mother, Jenna Elsher, maternal grandparents, and paternal grandparents.
A time for visitation and reflection will be held from 6pm-8pm, Monday, June 11, 2022 at Cerulli Family Funeral Homes. Celebration of life services will be 2pm, Tuesday, June 12, 2022 at Cerulli Family Funeral Homes. Interment is to follow.
