Dabi's POV

We just got home and I help Ruby get to bed since she was tired. I tuck her in then start leaving the room. "Dabi?" "Y- yea?" "Where are you going?" "I'm gonna sleep on the couch tonight."

She sits up and looks at me suprised, sad and a bit angry. "Why?! Never once in our relationship ever since we started sleeping in the same bed has one of us slept on the couch and the other the bed!"

"I- I know it's just... I don't trust myself around you right now... Also you may need more space then usual to try an be comfortable without being in pain."

She looks at me thinking for a bit then goes back to laying down. "Fine... But only for tonight!... Please?" "We'll see for tomorrow..."

I walk out and go down stairs to the living room and lay on the couch. I try and sleep but it was way too hard.

'Fuck she's right we've haven't done this in a long time... I mean we did for the first 4 month... For fuck sakes we didn't even live together for the first month and a half! Uh why does this have to be so hard!'

'Thank god!' I get up and look threw the doors window blinds and see... 'Enji!? Oh fuck, fuck! FUCK! WHERE'S MY MASK!?'

I rush over to kitchen and grab my mask from the table and open the door slowly. "Is there something I can help you with?..." "Hmm? You're not Ruby."

'Ruby? Oh right she works for him!...' "Oh Ruby yea she's in bed. Not sure if she's awake still or not." "May I see her?" "Is this urgent or can it possibly wait?" "Urgent" "Ok then follow me...".

'The fuck is happening!? Why is he here!? What's so fucking urgent!?' "I've been trying to call her but she hadn't been answering so I decided to come see her instead." "Ah... Well here it is... One second."

I knock on the door and Ruby growns quietly. "Little mouse you have a visitor!" "Who is it?" "Endeavour!" "What why is Trash here!?" "Trash?..."

He sighs and turns to me to explain. "She's been calling me Trash ever since she started interning with me I think 7 years ago." "Oh..."

The door opens and Ruby looks tired. She was wearing my hoodie that was obviously to big for her. Which also meant that we couldn't see her arm.

"Hey Trash what do you want?" "Why hello to you too. Before you get mad I tried calling you but you didn't pick up!" "Mhm" She says with an annoyed look on her face.

"Just spit it out already!" "Would you mind maybe coming into the office tomorrow? I know you're not scheduled but it's so chaotic and we need more people!"

"...No" "Why not!?" "Because I'm in too much pain..." He looked at her concerned then looked at me who was looking at the ground.

"What did he do!?" He said angry. 'Wait why does he care?' "It was just an accident please just leave it be it's not that bad..." She said rubbing her arm.

"Show me your arm." "What? No!" "Show me!" He tried grabbing her arm but she instantly pulled it away wincing in pain after.

"Ruby Aizawa show me your arm now!" She looked away and pulled up her sleeve to reveal the bandage. He turned to me and pushed me to the wall.

"What did you do!?" "I- I lost control of my quirk and accidentally used it on her!..." "What's your quirk?" "...Fire..."

He looked suprise and concerned looking back. "It looks like you treated it properly... Ruby you better not be getting yourself into another-"

Before he could finish Ruby put her hand on his mouth and pulled him into our room slamming the door.

"What the fuck just happened?!"
