Musicpaw was in the medicine den when Lilypaw and Riverpaw showed up. Lilypaw was excited to see her, while Riverpaw, on the other paw, was scared.
"Musicpaw!" Riverpaw called. "Are you all right?"
"Yes." Musicpaw meowed, and Riverpaw nodded her head.
"Just a bite," Musicpaw hissed under her breath.
Lilypaw ran up to her and almost squashed her. The medicine cat looked up.
"Chill, won't you?" Roselight meowed.
"Sorry..." Lilypaw murmured, and Musicpaw laughed.
"Remember that time when you and Waterpaw were hissing at each other in the nursery because you stole the mossball?" Riverpaw recalled, and Musicpaw looked at her.
"Yeah!" Musicpaw meowed gracefully. "And you were like, 'Stop hissing; I'm trying to sleep!'"
Riverpaw hissed at Musicpaw because she mocked her, but she decided not to unsheathe her claws.
"And remember that time when Leafpaw made a snowcat?" Lilypaw asked, and Musicpaw nodded her head.
"It was really good," Musicpaw commented.
"Yeah!" Lilypaw meowed.
