KageHina: Confession Letters

Dear Boke,

I most definitely know for sure you would neither find nor read this letter to you. I mean, this and a couple few letters will just be chilling in a small blue box that is to be given to you at our graduation.

But, that’s beside the point. I just want you to know that I am proud of you. Every single day, you’ve improved in your volleyball skills, especially receiving, and I’m proud of you for that.

Your orange hair reminds me of a tangerine, making it my favourite fruit. The joy that you always bring can light up the whole earth if you wanted to.  Your smile gives me hope whenever we’re on the verge of losing a match. The words, kind or not, always give me the motivation to keep on going.

You’re really the sun in my life.

Dear Human Tangerine,

God, you’re such a fucking dumbass. Running around like a wild puppy with Nishinoya-San and Tanaka-San. Hell, you’re so immature.

But, that’s why I love you for it. I love it when you run around, being carefree, being excited and being blissful. It makes me happy and have butterflies in my stomach.

I love you so so so much that even words, numbers or stars could represent my love for you. My love for you is eternal and so as my annoyance towards you.

Dear Hinata,

At night, I lie down and imagine you are here with me.
I didn't know just how much my heart craves for your affection or how much it misses your joyous energy. They say absence makes the heart grow fonder, and my fondness has no bounds.

I lie awake and feel the gentle warmth of your breath as it would fall on my cheek.
I replayed all the memories that we have made together. A thousand butterflies kiss at my skin, as I longed for that feeling to be praised by you.

Dear Shoyo,

Today is our friendship anniversary, and I just wanted to take a moment to tell you how much I love you. Just being with you has made all my dreams come true, and I want to do everything I can to make you feel that way too. You deserve to be treasured for being the sweetest, kindest, most thoughtful friend I could've asked for.

I wished that we could've been more than friends but, I was a coward for not confessing my feelings towards you. And guess what, tomorrow's our graduation day. I suppose, this would be the last letter that I would be writing to you before I give you this box.

And hey, I hope you don't get weirded out or disgusted about these "confession" letters because I truly want to have and continue this bond that I currently have with you.

Hinata clutched on all the letters that he had earlier received from Kageyama. He read all of it, one by one, again and again with full attentiveness and a lot of joy. He didn't know that the younger one had shared the same feelings as him but he was most definitely glad about it.

All this while, he thought they would only be best friends at most.

He got up from his bed, quickly putting on a grey sweatpants and Kageyama's light blueish-grey hoodie before getting out of the house to cycle to Kageyama's place.

A couple of minutes, he had finally arrived at the younger's place. He knocked at the door with full force and excitement.

"What the hell do you want… Oh, hey Shoyo, what're you doing here?"

"We need to talk about those letters you gave me earlier, Tobio."

The nervous expression was clear on Kageyama's face. He doesn't expect Hinata to confront him this early. He took a deep breath before letting Hinata inside of his house.

"So, what do you want to talk about?" Kageyama asked the older one.

"I love you too, blueberry head even though you're mean to me at times. But I still love you though cause I know no one would," Hinata said with his eyes sparking before chuckling.

Kageyama then playfully smacked him on his shoulders before muttering an I love you to the other.

It was safe to say that Hinata spent the night at Kageyama's house, whilst sleeping in the other man's arm peacefully.
